Revival at Mt Vernon Place

We recently hosted our wedding weekend at Hotel Revival, and it’s hard to put into words just how incredible the entire experience was. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcomed, cared for, and celebrated.

We kicked off the weekend with a Welcome Cocktail Party in the Garden Room, followed by afterparties at Topside both Friday and Saturday nights. The team at Topside were absolute pros, kind, flexible, and patient while handling a very lively (and let’s be honest, very spirited) group of guests. Their hospitality made a huge impression on us and everyone who attended.

A special thank you to the events team, who truly held everything together. From coordinating our room block to organizing the welcome party, afterparties, and brunch, they handled every detail with professionalism and kindness, keeping everything on track while making us feel completely at ease. We know it wasn’t easy managing all the moving parts, but they made it feel effortless.

Our guests are still raving about the hotel, the atmosphere, and the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to kick off the next chapter of our lives.

Thank you to everyone at Revival for making our wedding weekend truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back for a staycation soon!

We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding at Hotel Revival with the reception at Topside. It really was a one stop shop and was incredibly convenient for us and our guests. Josh especially helped make the process easier, and we felt like VIPs during our stay! Everyone loved the decor built into the hotel, and the general vibe of the hotel. The food was excellent! (Everything tasted just as it did at the initial tasting) and people made sure that we ate as the bride and groom.

Josh was very helpful, and always emailed us back promptly with answers to our questions. The payment process was clear and easy. Thank you for making our day truly memorable.

We reserved a block of rooms for our guests at Revival for our wedding which was right across the street. Revival was excellent! All the staff were friendly and accommodating to our guests. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated - a lot of our guests were able to check in early which was clutch. Emily was also incredibly helpful in planning everything and always super responsive leading up to the big weekend. We'd highly recommend Revival for your wedding block needs (or for any occasion!!).

We had our hotel block at the Hotel Revival for our wedding that took place nearby at the Belvedere. Hotel Revival was INCREDIBLY accommodating for our guests. Their service was truly outstanding (shout out to Walter at the valet stand)! Honestly, from the moment we arrived, they made our experience special. A bottle of champagne was placed in our room for us to get back to after the wedding, AND we were able to use the entire second floor lounge and lobby area for our after-party, with the help of the lovely receptionists. Such an incredible and memorable experience.

We didn’t have our wedding at Revival, but we had all our events before and after at Revival, and had all our guests stay here as well. And we are so glad we did!
We held our Friday afternoon welcome party, our Saturday night afterparty and our Sunday morning brunch all at Revival Hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and went so out of their way to be welcoming to us and our guests. The charm and local character of this hotel is unparalleled. And the location is great for walking around the beautiful Mt. Vernon neighborhood.
I highly recommend booking the Miss Mary suite for the newlyweds. It's spacious, beautiful and a perfect place to get ready before the wedding.
The Garden Room on the top floor is a fantastic venue for a Welcome Party. We had delicious, passed appetizers and an open bar that accompanied stunning views of Mt. Vernon Square.
After our wedding we rented out Topside Bar for the afterparty. It’s not cheap, but if you can swing it, it’s a great time. We had a selection of desserts for late night snacks and an open bar. Our guests loved the stunning views of the city from every angle.
The Sunday brunch in the Kindred Room was a perfect end to the weekend. Our guests were delighted that everything was all in the same place and easy to get to.
I will say that our wedding was the same weekend as Flower Mart, which added a little complication and traffic. The pictures and flowers were beautiful, but guests should be aware that it will be much harder to park and drive around the square when there are street festivals at the same time.
Overall, we are so appreciative of all the staff at Revival for making our weekend so unbelievably memorable. I think our out-of-town guests from the west coast have become Super Fans of Baltimore and I consider that a success!

We mainly worked with Josh to book Hotel Revival for our wedding room block, welcome brunch at Topside and after party in the Garden Room. We had the Miss Mary's Suite for our stay + bridal party getting ready location. It was perfect for that! Unfortunately our room (and maybe the whole 14th floor but can't confirm) lost heat for part of our stay in February. At first they offered free breakfast as compensation but then gave us one of our nights free; we were satisfied with this. Communication was not great throughout the planning process. We often felt Revival management did not provide accurate or up-to-date information. This ended up costing us more money than expected because of frequent miscommunications. We wish there was an online portal to keep track of our guest reservations instead of just number of rooms booked. MANY of our guests had difficulty booking via the website and via phone call. This hotel block definitely caused us the most stress during wedding planning. Topside was a great venue for a secondary wedding event. Service was good but the pricing is interestingly setup. Somehow their minimum F&B cost is only achievable by choosing their highest catering package. We had 80 guests, chose the highest package plus some add-ons to reach the minimum. After party in the Garden Room was great. Our bartender Anna was great at both events.
