The staff at Best Western was absolutely fantastic . The cost was great & so was the food. It's Baltimore's best kept secret . Kim & Hin, Banquet Managers were very accommodating. They assisted me throughout all of the planning. The menu selection was diverse and the dishes were amazing. My guest are still talking about the food two weeks after the wedding.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Guilford Hall in May 2025. It was perhaps the best wedding-related decision we made and we are so glad we did! The staff are so kind, accommodating and responsive. Even the head chef and the bartenders made special accommodations to our very particular menu and drink selections. The attention to detail and incorporation of our every preference cannot be understated. The Events Coordination team went above and beyond to make our vision a reality. The biergarten was perfect for our ceremony (although if you are having more than 110 guests, it might be a tight squeeze). The Cigar Room makes for a *stunning* photo backdrop and the patio was perfect for a fun, laid back cocktail hour where our guests could mingle around, sit at picnic tables and take pictures. There are so many great spots for photos we didn't need to import a cheesy photo wall or selfie station. But the real highlight is the reception in the Crown Hall. It was the perfect size for our party. We had a DJ, but if you want to bring a band into that room, you should consider having fewer than 10-12 tables otherwise there just simply isn’t room. The food and beverage selection for the dinner was top-notch, and if they don’t have something you want, they will order it. My husband wanted a very curated bourbon selection, and they managed to get every bottle he wanted (for an additional price). Our only critique is that we noticed long lines for the bar during cocktail hour and reception. So if you have big drinkers in your crowd, ask for an additional bar set up somewhere to expedite beverage delivery. I also highly recommend paying extra for a lighting company to put fabric and lights up otherwise the main focal point wall is just a blank grey square. We went with 27 Studios – one of many preferred vendors of Guilford that gave us a discount because they do so much business at that venue. We also had our DJ set up pin lights around the room for additional ambiance once the sun set (also an added fee). If industrial chic is your vibe, then BOOK THIS VENUE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. It’s so customizable and you can go all out or keep it simple or anywhere in between. Either way, these people work hard to make sure you have the best day ever!!!

Choosing this venue was THE BEST decision I made during this entire wedding planning process (outside of choosing my wonderful husband, of course!). The venue was absolutely gorgeous, the food was phenomenal, and Ms. Cindy is an angel walking among us. The venue also hosted our rehearsal lunch and our wedding party is still raving about the food. They were so kind, thoughtful, and really flexible/accommodating. Most venues have a really long list of things you can't do - Cindy and the BES team were solely focused on making sure hubby and I had the best day. Seriously, if you're debating having your wedding here, just go ahead and do it.

My finance and I were about to call it quits on planning a wedding for 100 guests. After 8 visits to other venues that felt overpriced and too heavy of a planning haul, we scheduled a time to visit Gertrudes as a last ditch effort. We were instantly impressed with Emily, the venue coordinator. Throughout the whole process she answered questions promptly and directly. Gertrudes food and drink pricing was very competitive to other catering proposals I had received for other venues. The menu options were varied to meet many different preferences and dietary restrictions. Our wedding day came, and it was more magical than we could have imagined. We opted to have our wedding in the Lower Wurtzburger Sculpture Gardens for an extra fee, it was beautiful. Our guests were commenting on the fantastic level of service they received by the staff. The ceremony flowed into a lovely outdoor cocktail hour. I could not believe my eyes at the beauty of the dining room during dinner. The low twinkling lights, and intimate seating was beautiful and romantic. Finally, we closed out dancing in the tent and everyone had a blast. I was relieved that Gertrude's by default has a sort of "wedding layout or process", meaning there was a limited amount of decisions I had to make in the planning process. Gertrudes takes care of so many things. If I had a wedding again, there is NO QUESTION I would book at Gertrudes again. Photos by A&M Photography

I just had my reception at The Grand Baltimore September 2023 and I cannot say enough good things. I will start with the venue coordinator, Nina, who was instrumental to the success of our day, and then move to the venue itself. The Grand was just the second venue we toured and we signed shortly after, so we had been working with Nina about a year and a half from contract date to wedding date. From day one, she went above and beyond to be as welcoming, patient, flexible, and transparent as possible to make our experience a better one. She went far beyond the expectations of her position to ensure that we were getting everything we wanted and needed, from letting us get ready at the venue when we had no other space, to making an extra entree just for us to try when we misread the menu for the tasting. Over that year and a half of countless email back and forth, late-night texts, meeting my family during several visits, Nina became a friend who was such a big part of the day. Now the venue itself can speak for itself just with pictures alone, but I will give a little extra. Like I said, we only toured two places before deciding on The Grand, but it's because there was no point seeing any more. After stepping foot into the building, we knew nothing else would compare. Built in the 1800s as the freemason's headquarters and boasting the most stunning stonework and architecture you'll see in the city, The Grand has not only the elegance I wanted, but the history and character of a building made to impress. It has multiple ballrooms, each with their own individual style to suit your event vibe. We were having a celestial wedding, so it was a no brainer to choose the Mirror Room for our reception, which had spectacular star-shaped light fixtures dotting a ceiling the color of the night sky. The adjacent room was used for our cocktail hour and looked like it came right out of a story book. People raved about the food and the day went off without a hitch. It is expensive, but you get so much for the price: attendants, bridal suite, amazing hors d'oeuvres, open bar, all tables/linens/cutlery, three course dinner, cake and coffee service. So yeah, it was a lot of money but I loved it so much I actually cut my guest list down just to be able to afford it and don't tell the people who got cut, but it was totally worth it and I'd do it again haha The wedding pictures I got from this venue, the memories I got for this venue, the friendships I made from this venue are priceless and beyond compare. 10/10 would get remarried here hahaha

We could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day than the one we had at The Belvedere. From start to finish, everything was truly exceptional. The ballrooms are absolutely stunning. They are grand, elegant, and full of historic charm that made our celebration feel so special. Our guests are still raving about how incredible the food was. Serving crab cakes in Baltimore is no small feat, and they absolutely nailed it! A huge thank you to Olivia, who made the entire planning process so much easier. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. And we can’t say enough good things about Harmony, our wedding day coordinator. She kept everything running smoothly and anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. One of the most thoughtful gestures was when someone discreetly ran across the street to pick up my husband’s exact drink of choice without us even asking. Just one of many examples of how attentive and caring the team was throughout the day. If you are looking for a venue with beautiful spaces, incredible food, and a truly dedicated staff, look no further than The Belvedere. They made our wedding unforgettable.

Lord Baltimore was exactly what I was looking for, a boutique hotel that was near attractions/things to do for my out of town guests. I worked with Cindy, the Director of Social Events. She was flexible and accommodating of my requests for ballroom setup, catering and of my rehearsal dinner. Working with her was stress free.

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Admiral Fell Inn. Sarah, Ruth, Donna, all the servers, the chef, everyone was wonderful to work with and in such happy spirits, it made for such a fun weekend. We had 97 guests, which was just the right amount and Sarah basically helped us coordinate everything, our cake, food, linens, dj...Working with her really made the process and planning so much easier. The view is also amazing and the venue is perfectly placed in the heart of Fells Point. I definitely recommend staying for the weekend and getting the adjoining rooms for both nights so that you have a nice place to get ready with your wedding party. Sarah was also super accommodating and responsive. At the last minute, we decided to add my husbands favorite app from St. Louis, toasted ravioli, and the chef and Sarah made it happen. There were many moments like that over the 6 months of planning and we are so grateful for how easy it all was! We keep hearing from our guests how much fun they had and what a great venue it was!

We worked with Robyn from Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor throughout the 14 months of planning of our wedding since initial contact with venue. Even with COVID-19 shutdown and restrictions she still made sure there was communication and execute the wedding day. She was always professional and listened to all our concerns. We felt like the Hyatt Regency staff worked effectively and safely. They put in all measures possible to still have a small wedding of 31 people. Guests made wonderful compliments about the staff from the doorman, check in staff, and staff involved in the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Robyn worked effectively with all our vendors and made accommodations as needed. We felt like Robyn and the rest of the Hyatt Regency staff truly made our wedding weekend special and run smoothly.

One of the top objectives my wife and I wanted to check off for our wedding was to celebrate the Charm City. As we toured the several beautiful venues in the city, we remembered going to the BMI in one of our earlier dates. Touring the museum once more through the lens of our wedding and objective, we knew we found the place! The Baltimore Museum of Industry showcases everything we love about Baltimore - it's rich history, the homages to the several businesses in the area, the beautiful Baltimore skyline. We absolutely loved it! As the day approached, we worked closely with Jesse, the Director of events, and he helped execute the vision! He helped us coordinate the space with our vendors walking us through where certain stations made sense. The synergy between the BMI and our caterer was perfect. On the night of, we were helped with two Jesses, and both put us at ease! Thank you both! As we reflect on our wedding, several guests commented how much they loved the space and look forward to coming back to explore more in depth. The BMI offered several amazing views and photography settings that we loved. The space will forever have a place in our heart. Thank you, BMI team!
