The club's incredible history dates back to the war of 1812 when British soldiers sought refuge in a farmhouse on the shore of Jones Creek, sharing homemade wine they found in the cellar. This home eventually transformed to become the first Sparrows Creek Clubhouse, which has since been relocated to today's 250-acre waterfront property. Over the centuries since passed, the staff here have strived to provide a venue as welcoming as it was to those first guests.
Facilities and Capacity
This magnificent venue can facilitate celebrations both small and large, with space for up to 280 guests to enjoy the tranquility of the locale. Couples can tie the knot in an outdoor ceremony on the club's verdant lawns, toast to their adventure set to a tranquil waterfront backdrop, and dance the night away in a spacious event room tailored to their needs. Sparrows Point has ample parking for those arriving by car and luxurious get-ready spaces for the happy couple and their parties to avail of. The interior space here is flooded with natural light from a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and is finished in neutral tones, ideal for decorating to suit the desired theme. This area has been newly renovated for a modern, fresh feel. Not just for the big day, happy couples can gather with loved ones to celebrate any of their wedding-related events here. The 18-hole golf course is an ideal environment to bond with loved ones and let off steam, all the while taking in the beauty of this expanse.

Setup and clean up of the tables, Chiavari chairs, and linens provided will be taken care of so the couple can relax and enjoy the event. Catering and bar services will also be provided in-house, including use of all glassware, flatware, and China.
