Vandiver Inn is a boutique, all-inclusive wedding venue located in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Centrally located in this historic town and a short walk from the scenic banks of Chesapeake Bay, it seamlessly combines elegance, romance, and comfort. The Vandiver’s unique pricing structure includes the event space, catering, bar service, tables and chairs, event management, and much more - all for one per-person price* - and can host luxurious weddings from 35-175 guests.
Facilities and Capacity
With three stunning event spaces available, couples can opt for either an indoor or outdoor setting for their ceremony and reception. Full of rustic splendor, the fully climate controlled 3,000-square-foot Pavilion is available all year round. Complete with lavish greenery and a picturesque gazebo, the garden is a mesmerizing setting for those seeking an elegant outdoor ceremony. The interior of the historic mansion exudes timeless charm, perfect for more intimate weddings and cocktail hours.
Services Offered
A dedicated event manager is assigned to every wedding, who is supported by an experienced team of staff to run your perfect day. Your event manager and their staff will work closely with you throughout your planning process, including setup and cleanup on the wedding day itself.
Vandiver Inn also boasts an award-winning catering team committed to providing an outstanding culinary experience. Their vast menu options allow you to create a customized full gourmet meal, to include hors d’oeuvres, salad, and entree with two sides. Every wedding package includes a full beer and wine bar with a signature drink, with the option to upgrade to a full open bar of mid-to-top shelf liquor. All tables, chairs, glassware, silverware and linens (available in more than 40 colors) are all included.
Accommodations
Couples and their guests have 17 on-site guest rooms to choose from to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of celebrating. Each distinct and comfortable guest room features a host of modern comforts including flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, and WiFi. Every guest enjoys a gourmet breakfast following their overnight stay. Every wedding couple receives one night for free in a guest room of their choice.

Food = our guests continue to tell it it was some of the best food that they've ever had while attending a wedding.
Our planner, Courtney, was great the entire time (as we booked about a year and a half early!) and always was communicating with us. Any changes we needed to have made were also always made, and everything went so smoothly the entire wedding weekend! We had the best weekend of our lives with our friends and family here and we are still so happy we went with Vandiver Inn. The tasting dinner beforehand was wonderful, and the entire planning process was seamless! We will always recommend this wedding venue to anyone!

A huge shoutout to Courtney, the wedding coordinator, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She made the planning so easy and stress-free, and when the weekend arrived, she worked her magic to ensure everything ran smoothly. Courtney is incredibly talented and truly knows how to make a wedding day flow seamlessly. She kept everything on track, made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, and set up many of our decorations herself, showcasing her expertise and eye for detail. The entire team at The Vandiver Inn was incredible! Their support really made the weekend feel effortless, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about making our celebration perfect.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The charm and elegance of the space created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. And, of course, the food lived up to all the hype—delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it! It was also so much fun having our friends and family stay at the venue all weekend. The cozy, inviting atmosphere kept the party going long after the ceremony, and it was wonderful to have everyone gathered together in such a beautiful setting for the entire weekend.
We are so grateful for everything The Vandiver Inn provided and wish we could relive the weekend all over again. If you're looking for a beautiful, stress-free venue with amazing service, we highly recommend The Vandiver Inn. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
