100% recommend! We did a private event at Bluepit BBQ the day after our wedding for ~60 people, and it was absolutely incredible. We got rave reviews, and had the best time. We wanted a space that felt sort of like a brewery - picnic tables, drinks, chill vibes - and this place could not have been more perfect. The cocktails (and mocktails) are insanely good, the food is so tasty (and naturally gluten free + jackfruit options for vegans), and the vibe is great. Also Cara is incredible to work with, and very quickly became one of our favorite people. Thank you Blue pit BBQ!

We had our welcome dinner for 50 guests at Blue Pit. Everything was wonderful. Cara (the owner) is responsive, low-key, makes wonderful recommendations, and really goes the extra mile to make sure everything goes smoothly. The staff is also wonderful. Whenever we had a guest request a drink that wasn't being served at the bar upstairs, they went down to get it. They also helped my mom set up the space with flowers and table runner's she brought in. The food and drinks were a hit with our guests, especially the watermelon mezcal margerita (which was one of our signature drinks). Blue Pit is an excellent choice for Welcome Dinners and I recommend them without hesitation.

Fabulous! They went above and beyond. They were flexible on final head count right up to the end, they let us in the space hours early to decorate, they have a FREE PHOTOBOOTH! You can't ask for more! The food is delicious, we eat here all the time, and the catered food was just as good. We even had our own bar tender. It was prefect.

Blue Pit is the best! My husband have been customers of Blue Pit for many years, and when it came to finding a wedding caterer, they were our very first choice. Cara is incredible and very easy to work with. She was extremely communicative and responsive, and really helped take away some of the stress of planning a wedding. She was our caterer, but we also felt like she was a wedding planner because of her extensive knowledge and advice! And of course, the food was absolutely phenomenal. We received so many compliments on it. I highly recommend booking Blue Pit!

We loved having our wedding at Blue Pit! Cara was helpful every step of the planning process and met with us regularly to make sure everything went smoothly. She is very patient and knowledgeable and helped us with everything from decorations to signature cocktails. The food was amazing and we got a ton of compliments! It was great having the whole restaurant to ourselves. We loved having different areas for the ceremony, dinner, and reception. Everyone had a fun time in a relaxed atmosphere. Cara also allowed us plenty of time for the wedding so we didn’t feel rushed. Amazing venue!

Planning: Cara was amazing to work with, she was always responsive and thoughtful in answering our questions leading up to the day. She was very flexible and creative and also offered great advice, which was so reassuring since we were planning our wedding from across the country. We ended up not hiring a wedding planner/day of coordinator for a number of reasons, but one of the big ones being that Cara was all over it and took so much care about making sure it was an amazing day for us and our guests.
Food & Drink: The food is DELICIOUS and our guests loved it. I had read other reviews where their guests called it the best wedding food they had ever had, and our guests said the same thing! As is usually the case my husband and I barely had time to eat a plate during our wedding, but fortunately we can go back to Blue Pit any time to relive our wedding menu (huge perk!). Also the team put together some delicious signature cocktails for us and had an amazing full bar selection.
Venue: We wanted a really comfortable and sociable venue for our reception. Our guests loved bouncing around the two floors of the restaurant and hanging out on the patio. It was perfect for lots of mingling and random dance circles popping up. We specifically didn't want a "blank canvas" type venue where we would have to spend a ton on decorations, furnishings, and place settings, and we were able to focus on what was most important to us.
Blue Pit Team: Amazing vibes all around. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and fast, and really cared about making it a great day for us.

Cara and Blue Pit were amazing. The food is great quality-- everyone at our reception gave compliments. They worked proactively with our venue and were very communicative and responsive with us, which we really appreciated (Cara was a great sport about our last minute head-count and cocktail choices). Blue Pit's staff were friendly and professional during the planning process and day-of. I also appreciated how seriously Cara and Blue Pit took allergy concerns, and that their default menu was inclusive of vegan guests.

Going with Blue Pit BBQ for our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made. The food is absolutely delicious. So many guests asked us after who did the catering because they loved it so much and wanted to get it again. Also, I can't thank Cara enough for all she did to help us. She knows weddings and helped guide us to make decisions that would be best for what we wanted and our budget. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers, and wants to do what she can to help give you the perfect day. Every time anyone asks me about the wedding and our vendors I always end up talking about how amazing Cara is, how good the food is here and how we will be customers for a very long time.
