La Scala has expanded after recent renovations and now contains Baltimore's only indoor bocce court as well as two new private dining rooms and a wine room. La Scala is highly rated in the Zagat Survey; has been voted "Baltimore's Best Italian Restaurant" in the annual city paper poll as well as Baltimore Magazine's Readers's Choice poll; voted one of the top ten restaurants by OL's City's Best, as well as being featured in the Baltimore Sun and Baltimore Magazine.

La Scala is the best place to have your wedding reception! We had a fairly large party and the Caruso Room at La Scala was perfect. Cathy is so wonderful to work with as well. She is an absolute pro and the nicest person to work with. She made sure all the details were perfect and checked up frequently to make sure everything was perfect. It was so easy to have our reception there. We dropped everything off a couple of days before and they set everything up for us on the special day. It looked absolutely amazing. La Scala is a fabulous place to have a reception and extremely reasonably priced. We love Cathy and La Scala!Sent on 12/01/2015

We had our rehearsal dinner at La Scala and it was great! The food was excellent, staff were incredible (knowledgable and kind), the bocce ball court was super fun. The only minor hiccup was that our account manager left about 3 months before the wedding, so we then had an interim person (who was nice but not as professional nor as knowledgable), and then a fantastic new account manager who started the week of our dinner. Due to that, the specifics on which dietary restrictions we had were not passed along (so they knew we had vegetarians, but not how many - which is fine and they were accommodated, but I had no idea those numbers off the top of my head, and the head server asked me [the bride] when I arrived to the dinner). Another example - we had asked for both appetizers to be vegetarian, and one had no meat apparent but was made with chicken stock (and a bunch of vegetarians ate it, because we thought it was vegetarian). Overall, though, great experience, and I'm glad they have a new account manager!Sent on 09/15/2018
