My daughter got married here this past weekend & I highly recommend. It was literally perfection! There are so many reasons to have your wedding here, here are a few… 1. It’s all inclusive, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, housing for bride & groom as well as the wedding party & you have use of tables, chairs, some decor & more. Also, you get the place from Thursday to Sunday, which for decorating & clean up takes a load of stress away. 2. They offer catering as well which keeps everything so simple. And when I tell you the food is over the top - I mean it!!! Absolutely delicious! 3. The venue is GORGEOUS!!!! Beautiful lodge, barn & the views are to die for. Such a great place to relax during prep days & all angles of the property couldn’t be more breathtaking. I couldn’t imagine there is anywhere else in Virginia or the surrounding states that could even come close!!! Love, love, love!!!!

Atkinson Farms made our wedding the fairytale I hoped it would be. Eddie was such an amazing person to work with. He made me feel like family and went above and beyond to make our day special. I can't explain just how beautiful this venue is. My family will be talking about it for years to come.

I recently proposed to my girlfriend here and my god the property is absolutely stunning! From the beautiful ponds and fountains to the big lodge this place has it all. The people who own the property are wonderful as well and have top notch customer service. If you are planning an engagement or wedding in the Danville, VA area then this is the place to do it at!

My wedding was a BLAST! We made a great choice choosing Atkinson Farms. The entire property is absolutely stunning. I kept getting compliments from my wedding guests saying how much it gave them “Yellowstone” vibes. From start to finish Eddie was there to walk us through. The Best Experience! The venue is gorgeous and Eddie the manager and caterer is incredible! He was incredibly helpful and responsive through the entire planning process, we couldn't have done it without him! He was prepared and knew exactly how to handle all of the stress that came with planning a wedding, he guided us through the entire process.

The venue is beautiful, it seems directly out of a movie. You can tell the owners really care about their venue by how well the grounds are kept. Every other venue we toured was significantly more expensive with significantly less amenities. The bridal suite and on site cabin made the entire weekend incredibly fun with our families and wedding parties!

My wife and I got married here in November of 2021. It has taken me quite some time to write this because I’ve still been in awe over the experience for months now. As soon as we pulled up to the property we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and speaks for itself but the customer service we received throughout planning our wedding from the moment we picked our date through the end of our wedding weekend was exceptional. I can’t say enough about the venue manager, Zach and how he went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, went smoothly and eased any of our concerns as they came up. We hired Eddie Blachura for our catering and Stephanie Yates for our day of coordinator per Zach’s recommendation and both of them were exceptional as well. Nearly a year later, many of our guests are still talking about our wedding. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making our dreams come true.

BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! I say this not only because of how gorgeous the venue is but because of how amazing the venue manager Zach is! I spent over a year planning my wedding at Atkinson and Zach was a tremendous help throughout the entire wedding process! He was very responsive to all of my texts and emails and always had a solution or option for whenever I would get stuck in the wedding planning process. I was a covid bride and had to postpone the wedding twice. He was prepared and knew exactly how to handle all of the stress that came with planning a wedding during Covid. He allowed us to postpone our wedding date there without any extra charge and truly went above and beyond all of my expectations when it comes to a venue manager. I really felt as though he really cared about me getting my safe dream wedding!
The venue is beautiful, absolutely a dream. You can tell the owners really care about their venue by how well the grounds are kept. I can’t believe something so beautiful and nice is located in Danville, VA! The bridal suite is the best bridal suite I have seen for a wedding venue and I love that the guys also have their own separate cabin to get ready in.
So again, book this venue! Especially if you want your wedding to run smoothly and organized!! Zach knows the grounds and venue like the back of his hands and knows what flow works there and what doesn’t!

My husband and I had our wedding planned at Atkinson Farms for March 28, 2020. Unfortunately due to Covid we had to postpone and ended up moving our date multiple times since things weren’t getting any better. Zach at Atkinson Farms was so wonderful and accommodating and allowed us to move our date multiple times at no extra charge. He also reached out to our other vendors to see if they could accommodate our new date too which was super helpful and took the stress off of us. We ended up settling on a date for April 17, 2021 with hopes things would be back to normal. But since our families are out of state and covid is still around, we came to the final decision to just cancel. Zach went above and beyond to ensure that we got our full deposit back. It has been such a pleasure working with Zach and we are so sad we couldn’t have our dream wedding at Atkinson Farms.
Also, since we had to cancel about two weeks out from our original date due to covid, we had everything in place and ready to go for our special day. Let me just say that the venue, scenery, bridal suite, grooms cabin, just everything about this place is absolutely beautiful! You will be missing out if you don’t have your wedding here! My husband and I plan on doing a vow renewal in the future and Atkinson Farms will be our go to venue! Thank you Zach for all your help and being so great to work with!

My wedding was affected by COVID, much like every other bride in 2020 and I was forced to make the last minute decision 2 months before my wedding to switch venues. I called Zach, the event manager, in a panic and he provided the best hospitality and service that I could ever ask for. Me and Zach, along with my groom and our families all meshed so perfectly together. Atkinson provided me with a wedding beyond what I could have ever dreamed and imagined and they did so at the last minute. If I could go back and re-plan my wedding without covid, I would pick here. I would pick this venue 100 times over and work with these amazing people. It is even more beautiful and the people are even more great than the pictures and reviews do it justice for. I will forever suggest and support this venue. Thank you for making my day so special, and beyond all we could hope for!

Atkinson Farms is so gorgeous and spacious. Great for any large event. Venue coordinator, Zach Gibson, is amazing! All I had to do was text him if I had a question or concern and he would respond right away. He has helped coordinate many events at Atkinson Farms so he had the best recommendations.
For example, we were supposed to have an outdoor wedding ceremony, but it was calling for rain the day of our wedding. Zach assured me we could manage to do the ceremony inside. I had my doubts because we were expecting about 250 people, plus our reception and cocktail hour were inside. Right after the ceremony Zach and his guys broke down chairs from the ceremony and had the cocktail hour settings in place in record time!
Not to mention our original wedding date was April 25th and Zach worked diligently with us to make sure we still had our dream wedding in August, despite COVID. If you are planning a large wedding, this is your venue!
