Cricket Chirp Farm is an absolutely ideal setting to celebrate your wedding day. My niece was recently married there and everything (and I truly do mean EVERY thing!) was perfect. Do yourself a favor and visit their website and read not only the history of this century old venue - but the vision the Tomasi family has put into play to create your fairy tale beginning as husband and wife. Beautiful venues in the wedding-world are plentiful, but the love, care, and commitment provided by Melanie and Steve to each and every wedding is unparalleled as they work diligently to see YOUR wedding dreams come to fruition. Melanie has a professional background in event planning and her attention to detail is flawless. Steve is Melanie's right hand man - and is equally as involved in the day to day operations. More importantly, they understand that each wedding is unique to the taste and style of the bridal couple. Not only does this dynamic duo bring their expertise to the preplanning of your wedding day but they are also gracious in welcoming you and your guests with open arms, encouragement, and friendly smiles!

Cricket Chirp Farm has become a labor of love for the Tomasi`. The farmhouse, the greenhouse, new pavilion (complete with chandeliers!) are nestled in a beautiful grove of graceful old walnut trees. The accommodations are immaculate and the grounds are just perfect for your special day. Another unique feature of Cricket Chirp Farm is their extensive list of wedding items they offer to 'loan'. Former brides have made this feature possible by gifting gently used (and sometimes brand new) decorations to the Farm. Instead of capitalizing on these lovely treasures and renting them out - the Farm provides pictures (and quantities) of each item they have available. I was very fortunate to be the wedding coordinator for my niece's special day and this one feature alone offered great cost and time saving decorations that they are happy for you to use for your own wedding day.

I would like to add that this is not a faux 'paid' review. My sentiments are from the heart based on first-hand experience. It's not often that you can leave an event and still have this feel-good feeling weeks later. From the moment we first visited the farm for a tour we knew we had made the right choice in this venue. Weddings can be stressful - but at Cricket Chirp Farm your day can be stress-free. You may start out as strangers, but I promise you will end up as family with Steve and Melanie!

My Fiance and I discovered Cricket Chirp Farm thru Facebook and we decided to tour the venue to see if it aligned with our wedding vision. We fell in love with it as soon as we pulled up by the Victorian house on the premises. Steve and Melanie gave us a tour of the venue and by the end of the tour, we knew for sure that this was the perfect venue for the intimate wedding we had envisioned. We had our wedding this past weekend and all of our guests loved the venue. The view from the greenhouse was breathtaking that we used very minimal decoration. The mountains in the background make a PERFECT backdrop!

Steve and Melanie are awesome to work with and they were supportive from the beginning stages of the wedding planning until the very end. I was stress-free throughout the wedding planning because they got in touch with all of our vendors and they were able to accommodate the requests of the vendors.

On the day of the wedding, we had a hiccup and Melanie went to great lengths to make sure things went as planned. My husband and I are truly grateful and we are glad we chose Cricket Chirp Farm for our wedding.
