Cricket Chirp Farm is a family-owned-and-operated barn and farm wedding venue located in Mc Gaheysville, Virginia. This boutique setting has a rare combination of features. These are a century-old and intimate greenhouse as a ceremony site, a century-old farmhouse for get-ready rooms, and a Black Walnut forest as a reception site. All of these beautiful spots are tucked in between the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains. This is an exquisite setting for a truly unforgettable wedding day.

Facilities and Capacity

This 100-year-old Greenhouse can be booked as an intimate ceremony space for up to 100 guests or as the focal point for a larger group where some guests remain outdoors. The Victorian House and Venue was built in 1917. This historic property has a Bridal Suite, Groom's Suite, kitchen, and caterer prep rooms, as well as the reception area. A couple may hold their reception here beneath the towering branches of Black Walnut trees.

The Cricket Chirp Farm staff offers a tour of the property ahead of a wedding. This setting is also marvelous for photography sessions. A wedding site fee includes the use of get-ready rooms, parking, audio-visual equipment, tables, linens, and chairs.
