We are having a very elegant and romantic wedding in St. Louis (where I am from). My fiance is from New York (which is also where we live and where we met)We did our own Meet Me In St. Louis themed Save the Dates and now we are trying to decide on a theme for our wedding and we are torn between wanting to make it about NY and STL and about all that we love about both places (ex. doing our tables named after our favorite Yankee and Cardinal baseball players, instead of doing favors we want to do a snack/candy table with the World's Fair Flair, doing Waffle Cones for ice cream, Caramel Corn and other assorted treats in apothacary jars) Looking for ideas on how to do all this without making it cheesy and taking away from the beautiful and extremely elegant wedding/reception we are having?

Hmmm... that's a tough one. The only thing I can think of is: Put the treats in an elegant container, so that it is still the main focus of the table instead of the snacks. SORRY it was the ONLY thing I could think of :(
