Wedding Vendors in Koloa

We planned a destination wedding in Kauai, so there was a lot of trust involved in hiring our vendors since we wouldn't be able to meet with them until the cermony. We found Ken Posney and The Photographers Group online and really liked his style. All his shots are great, from formal posed shots to candid captures, all of them really held the heart of the moment. However, the best thing about working with Ken is that he really made an effort to get to know us as a couple, our humor, our individuality, our quirks. He did this before we got out to Kauai, via Facebook and email, so by the time we met in person, it was like hanging out with an old friend. That meant a lot to us. Our photos, and our slideshow are perfect!

Gordon and Paul were FABULOUS! They did a great job with the ceremony music and playing music for our cocktail hour. The music was great.

Alana is young, beautiful and talented! She was kind enough to do two trial runs for me just to make sure my makeup was perfection for my big day! She even made sure the products she used were hypoallergenic for my sensitive skin. Because of her patience, confidence and skill, she made me look and feel like a beautiful Bride!

Blenda was a wonderful photographer for our wedding! All of the photos we received are beautiful. We could tell she was very knowledgeable, competent, and creative. She was extremely easy to work with and was able to make my husband, myself, and our guests immediately feel comfortable in front of the camera. She knew how to take full advantage of our wedding location for different shots and our photos turned out better than what we could have hoped for!

My coworker actually referred us to LEK since they did her wedding, and thank god she did...I dread to think how stressful a destination wedding in Kauai would've been without Marie and Ana helping us. Marie was super organized and very responsive to our (many) emails. Having all the docs in Google Drive made collaboration easy as pie. All the vendors she recommended we use did an amazing job. The one potential hitch was that our original florist went out of business a few months prior to the wedding, but Marie was able to quickly find another one that my wife loved and saved the day. Marie and Ana were both there for the rehearsal and the day of, and they kept everything running smoothly so we could just relax and enjoy the party. Thanks for planning the best day of our lives, Marie and Ana!

We cannot say enough positive about John Rivera and his band! They are the best on the island from our experience. They had our whole group dancing and even allowed my husband on stage to drum with them for a song or two. There is something really special about having a live band at your event/wedding. The Greenstone Project made the night complete! We will go back and watch him again every visit to the island moving forward. We would highly recommend hiring!

We decided to not hire a DJ and instead created a meaningful playlist to be played through our computer. But we needed speakers! And though we had a relatively small wedding (50 people), we knew that it could be hard to hear since our ceremony was to be held outside. We contacted Eric and he was able to advise us honestly on the setup we would need and what would be easiest for the us. We ended up renting two sets of speakers (one for the ceremony, one for the reception so we wouldn't have to worry about transport), lapel mics, and a wireless mic. Eric was professional and stayed a little bit extra to make sure it would all work correctly. He also helped us with our lighting for the lanai where our dancing was held; we had been in contact with another company who wanted to charge three times the amount. Eric said that he offered the exact same lighting setup and he was willing to go out to our venue to ensure how many strings we would need. I cannot tell you how relieved we were to find Eric and how much he helped us. He truly went the extra mile and was consistently responsive. Very nice, genuine guy.

Frieda was so great to work with! She made it so easy and effortless to get married in Kauai. She gave recommendations for a photographer (Ashley, who was amazing) and beaches for us to pick from. She was very professional and great to work with. She asked us questions to make our ceremony personal and even gave us the cutest keepsake to take home.
