My coworker actually referred us to LEK since they did her wedding, and thank god she did...I dread to think how stressful a destination wedding in Kauai would've been without Marie and Ana helping us.

Marie was super organized and very responsive to our (many) emails. Having all the docs in Google Drive made collaboration easy as pie. All the vendors she recommended we use did an amazing job. The one potential hitch was that our original florist went out of business a few months prior to the wedding, but Marie was able to quickly find another one that my wife loved and saved the day.

Marie and Ana were both there for the rehearsal and the day of, and they kept everything running smoothly so we could just relax and enjoy the party. Thanks for planning the best day of our lives, Marie and Ana!

We cannot thank the team at LEK enough for executing the destination wedding of our dreams! Everything was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations in every way. I was very indecisive when it came to wedding details but Marie was incredibly patient and always managed to make me feel at ease after every email and phone call. I loved that LEK laid out the planning documents in a Google Drive, which streamlined and simplified the planning process. Marie went above and beyond to help us get the most out of our budget and yet still plan the event of a lifetime.

Having a destination wedding, we weren't able to meet the vendors beforehand, which made me nervous at first. But after our initial call with Marie, I knew we were in great hands. Everyone we worked with off LEK's list of preferred vendors was PHENOMENAL and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Marie and Ana were onsite the day of our wedding and everything went off without a hitch. They made my groom and I feel so relaxed. We just showed up and everything was taken care of. They even gave our bridal party their phone numbers in case any issues came up during the day! We have heard from many of our guests that it was the best wedding they've EVER been to. We owe that all to LEK and their stellar work. Coming from the queen of indecisiveness, working with LEK should be an easy decision for every Kauai bride!

My husband's aunt, who lives on Kauai, referred us to Marie at Legacy Events after attending a beautiful wedding that she had planned. From the moment we first spoke with Marie over the phone, we instantly loved her and knew we wouldn't need to speak with any other wedding planners. Marie is so down to earth and easy to talk to, yet extremely organized & on top of things. She is clearly passionate about her work and cares deeply about helping couples make their wedding dreams a reality. Marie listened closely to each of our requests, provided guidance & advice when we needed it (which was often), calmed our nerves when we were stressed about our budget, and always worked with us to come to a solution. The day of our wedding, Marie & her colleague Ana were beyond amazing. They worked so hard to ensure that each & every moment went smoothly, and that my fiance & I were never stressed or worrying about anything. I can honestly say that everything was absolutely perfect and it truly was the happiest day of our lives. Marie & Ana- we cannot thank you enough!!! :)

Marie and Ana were amazing to work with. We were recommended to use them by our photographers and we can't thank them enough. Marie was always on top of it - there when you need her and didn't ask too many small questions. She saw my vision and most important to my husband, she was completely respectful of our budget and worked with us to complete the vision within the budget without overselling us. Thank you guys for a day that will never be forgotten!

Legacy Events Kauai was the best! We had never visited the island of Kauai and we weren't planning on it before having our destination wedding there. So, early on in the planning process, I knew we either had to get married at a resort (which would be all inclusive) or hire a planner.

The resort option didn't feel like "us." So, after a ton of research, we found some venues we liked and some planners that seemed decent. LEK truly knocked the other planners out of the water, and we're so glad we went with them!

Trying to plan a wedding from an ocean away can definitely be stressful. But, we truly trusted LEK, their input, and their intent. Marie was so patient with us, and went well above her duties. She was always there if we had a random question or no idea where our venue should be.

The biggest indicator of how good they are at their job is that we didn’t have to worry about anything during our wedding day. We were able to fully enjoy and absorb the day including our family, the games you put together for us, décor, food, etc.

They truly put our minds at ease. The experience was so wonderful :)

I'm so happy that I had Marie and Legacy Events help to plan my wedding!! I had selected all of my vendors and made a lot of preliminary decisions, but when I got to Kauai, all of my vendors kept asking who my wedding planner was, and my venue, Plantation Gardens, strongly suggested that I get a planner. All of the last-minute stress was alleviated by Marie's expert planning and friendly, caring demeanor. She keeps everything incredibly organized through Google Docs, so it was really easy to keep on top of everything and to communicate with her, despite our six-hour time difference. The days leading up to my wedding, I was able to enjoy spending time with my friends and family on Kauai while Marie and her team prepped the last minute details with our DJ, musicians, photographer and hair/makeup people. Marie ran our rehearsal and gave everyone there detailed time lines for the day of the wedding, so everyone knew what to expect. On the day of the wedding, I just had to be ready for hair and makeup, and all of the details fell easily into place. Marie brought our bouquets and hair flowers to the hotel room, helped to organize our first look and bridal photos, oversaw all of our venue set up and made sure that our ceremony was a success. She and Tiare helped to make sure that we got all of our group photos done in a timely manner after the wedding and kept the whole night flowing smoothly. I'm so thankful for all of the effort that Marie put into my wedding, it was a success largely due to her amazing work!

One of the best decisions my husband and I made while planning our destination Kauai wedding was working with Marie at Legacy Events! We are writing this review almost two months after our big day, and we are still reminiscing about all of the details that Marie and Tiare helped bring to life. Thanks to their diligence, eye for detail, and organization, our wedding day was the most amazing, memorable, and beautiful day of our lives. We are so lucky that we had them in our corner, and I can truly say that I came away with two new friends in Kauai.

I really can't do Legacy Events justice in an online review. If you are lucky enough to be married in paradise, do yourself a favor and work with Marie and her team. It will be the best choice you make for your wedding...other than your choice in partner :)

Legacy Events was the main reason that I was able to have a completely stress free wedding day which is actually priceless! My mom and I had done a lot of the vendor research and coordinating ourselves before we reached out to Legacy Events so we did not use them from the very beginning. But I was SO happy we had them on board in time for the wedding because they handled everything for the rehearsal and started early the day of the wedding making sure the day went flawlessly. We had 100 guests at our wedding at the Plantation Gardens (highly recommend!). Legacy Events was in charge of all the day of set up of our décor and when I arrived, I was so impressed with everything. We had a couple hiccups which some I wasn't even aware of until after and others they made sure to improvise and in my mind.... the day was absolutely perfect. I was able to relax all day long with my bridesmaids and enjoy the night with my husband and family and friends! Thank you Marie for all your hard work and attention to detail, it really pays off and you can tell your team are experts!

Marie and team did an amazing job on our wedding. She is sweet and attentive and made my day stress free. I reached out to her around 6 months before the wedding day and although that's normally considered a short amount of time to plan she kept us on track along the way. What I really like about Marie is you can tell she has a wonderful relationship with her vendors and she has several to choose from, which makes a difference staying in budget. I unfortunately went over my initial budget but I appreciated Marie's consistent updates and also recommendation to cut in certain areas once we went over. This really made me feel like she was looking out for my best interest and what I initially wanted for my day. Also Marie and team did the reception table decor. I'm not sure if they normally do that but in our case our table topper were both decor and giveaways and I wanted something simple (not big floral arrangements). Over all I thought she did an amazing job and if you use her services I'm sure you'll be extremely satisfied as well.

Marie is the best! She did the wedding planning for our daughter's wedding, and it was absolutely spectacular. She is extremely detail oriented and stays on top of all the aspects of planning and carrying out the event. Her recommendations for vendors were hugely helpful since we don't live in the area, and were spot on. She knows the business and the participants well. Whenever there was a question or a snag with any of them, she jumped right in and got it resolved. During the ceremony and reception, she took care of everything invisibly. She communicates well and frequently, and is a pure pleasure to work with. We would use her again in a heartbeat!
