Gary Law is a family friend that has provided a variety of photo services to us for many years. I first knew of Gary when my aunt was married back in 1991, and he did the wedding photos. He came to the house to do the bridal party portraits, and then did some really great photos of my aunt's wedding in the church and at the reception site. In the years after my aunt's wedding, Gary did some family portraits for us in our home, and also did commercial photography for my dad's restaurant. 15 years later, come time for my wedding, we didn't even have to think of a photographer -- Gary was automatically our choice. I'd always known Gary as an acquaintance of my dad, but working with him as our photographer was truly a wonderful experience. We were engaged 1.5 years out so we were able to give Gary a lot of notice...and we were able to secure him before anyone else did! Throughout the engagement Gary met with us in person and was extremely responsive by email. We did family/wedding party portraits in his home studio, family ceremony in our hotel room, and then he photographed wedding ceremony and reception, which was aboard a yacht. Gary does research to make sure that he is familiar with his surroundings before the actual photo day. The studio portraits were taken the weekend before the wedding, which is where Gary learns your angles and gets to know you a little better. Gary is very easy to work with. He's fast, funny, and he makes you feel at home with him. It's not awkward, and you can ask him questions or give him suggestions. My parents are divorced and he was very sensitive to that. He's good with names, and has a great upbeat demeanor about him. He's extremely professional, and very fast! Our wedding ceremony was aboard a 3-deck yacht, included surprise performances by the groom, and Gary was able to capture it all! He accomplished all this with just 1 assistant. Post wedding, Gary was quick to turn around proofs and the wedding album. Our wedding album is BEAUTIFUL -- we just got it last week -- and it shows Gary ability to visualize. There were a few pictures that Gary took during the wedding that we didn't understand...but when they show up in the album, you see what his mind was thinking! Gary takes true pride in his work, which showed in his eagerness to show us the final album. He is just a great person to work with, and we highly recommend him to anyone!

Sugarplum did a great job setting up a tent for our outdoor wedding. They created a beautiful tent with a lot of different options. Sometimes it was hard to get clear information about what the tent options were, but the final product was phenomenal. Highly recommend working with them. They create really gorgeous tents, and anything you've seen on Instagram or Pinterest is possible with Sugarplum. They create an amazing ambiance.

Michelle was everything advertised and more. She was part planner, part creative genius, part organizing Guru, and part therapist. When everything went wrong (my bridesmaids bailed, my fiance's father died, etc.) and I was about to loss my mind from stress, Michelle was a calming voice that kept me on track and talked me off the ledge again and again. When my ideas got crazy, she helped me focus and make choices with big impact. When I had a dream, she helped me create steps to achieve that dream. She made phone calls and recommendations which led to having vendors that where amazing. When I decided I wanted fire pits, she helped track down the best deals in town. Her personality and calming voice helped make the day wonderful. I had so many people come up to me at the wedding and tell me it was the most beautiful, romantic wedding they had ever been at, and I can say in large part that was due to Michelle. I highly recommend you use Michelle for any event, but most importantly for your wedding.

A very big shout out to Hussain at My Sugar Exotics. Not only did they deliver a fantasy vehicle for our night out to MGM for Kathy Haynes’ birthday, they allowed us to hold on to the vehicle an extra day to enjoy and chauffeur Molly Peterschmidt O'Boyle around to Radiation appointments in style. When we woke up this morning, Molly was greeted with this amazing bouquet of flowers from them. This is what life is about. Enjoy life to the fullest and be kind.
