Sharon and Nicole did an awesome job with hair & makeup at our wedding. They were very open to my requests and feedback during and after the trial run. They gave me the natural look I was hoping for. My mom, MIL, and SILs were all very happy with their looks too! As a bonus, Sharon and Nicole were very fun and easy to hang out with for a few hours on the morning of the wedding.

Brenda baked the most luscious tasting wedding cake! It was absolutely beautiful (check out the photo of my cake). She was very honest and helpful. Truth be told, my husband and I didn't even save the top layer! It was gone a week after my wedding!

Jenny has so many delicious flavors to choose from - her selection and variety is great. We had a 3 tier cake and were able to pick different flavor combinations for each tier. Her pricing was fair and the cake turned out looking exactly as I had hoped. Overall, I would recommend Jenny's cakes - you will not be disappointed with the final product. My only negative would be that Jenny was not always responsive to my emails. At one point a few weeks before the wedding date I had to email her 3-4 times prior to getting a response. And I am not a high maintenance person at all (nor was I a high maintenance bride), and prior to following up on my initial email I gave her almost a week to get back to me before I began to wonder if she even received my email, so I sent it again. I understand I got married in July, which is probably a very busy time for her, however, I work in customer service as well and understand the importance of that aspect as well as the actual product. All of my other vendors were very responsive and provided great service, so it is for that reason only that I give Jenny 4 stars instead of 5.

We hired Jump Street band for our wedding reception and we were not disappointed. Hajji and his team were great to work with and very accommodating. We gave Hajji a loose brief on what we wanted, including a few special request songs, and he met all of our expectations and more! They had everyone on the dance floor the entire time and absolutely made the party! Having Jump Street at our wedding was the best decision we ever made.

I have had numerous occasions to use Events by Design's services. From save the dates, invitations, table cards, seating charts, shower invitations, and birth announcements. Shana always listens to what we want, comes up with a few ideas and once we decide what to go with she goes above and beyond what was originally expected! Her work is all top quality, extremely creative, and specifically designed with you in mind! You would not be disappointed in anything she does!

AJ did our ceremony music, and we are so happy we hired him! His acoustic sound was absolutely beautiful and set the perfect tone for the ceremony. AJ was so kind and easy to work with, and we are so happy we were able to add live music to our ceremony. Highly recommend!

Justin was absolutely wonderful to work with, and his films are amazing! We are incredibly happy with how our wedding film turned out and are so grateful that Justin was able to capture our day so beautifully. He has a very special eye and is able to tell a story in such a unique, lovely way. Our wedding film perfectly captured the feel of our day, and transports us back to our wedding each time we watch it. Justin is also an incredibly nice guy, and made our planning process so easy and fun. He and his partner Curran were so wonderful to have around on the wedding day. They somehow managed to perfectly capture everything without ever being intrusive, and both had such great energy all day. We were so grateful to have them there! We can't recommend Justin enough!

My officiant from Unity on the River, Rev. Shipley Allinson, was such an amazing blessing to our day! The process of preparing for our wedding was organized, clear and understandable. I was pleasantly surprised to experience the activities that prepared my husband and I for our special day, our vows and our lives together. I feel the process that Rev. Shipley walked us through truly prepared us for the days, years and lifetime ahead. We continue to receive compliments from our guests, saying how beautiful the ceremony was. There was laughter and tears. Rev. Shipley personalized our ceremony in a way that I've never seen at a wedding. We are so grateful for Unity on the River and Rev. Shipley Allinson for helping us connect with each other and all of our guests. Having had so much go wrong with the wedding, I was beyond lucky to find essencia salon for my hair and makeup!! They were so wonderful and whenever I went in they let me vent about what was happening with wedding planning. They treated me like family, not just some customer. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!!!
