I’m so glad we went with Simply Elegant Catering for our wedding. The food was delicious and beautiful, the staff was kind and professional , and Sam was so easy to work with and super patient with me and alll my changes I made . I guess after 25 years in this business you really know what you’re doing ! I would definitely recommend to a friend .

Simply Elegant Catering served all our culinary needs. Special menu requests were handled with ease. The bride and groom had extremely specific requests for their food which differed from the standard menu selections. Sam and Michele did not blink an eye when asked to accommodate their unique dietary desires. They happily provided special meals for our vegan guests, our vegetarian guests, and our guests with food allergies. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, appetizers could not be served so they were easily replaced with plated offerings. Days after the wedding, we continued to get compliments about how good the meal was. We would use Simply Elegant Catering for all our catering needs.

We had an Indian fusion wedding for approximately 100 people last weekend at an off-site venue, and Simply Elegant Catering did a fantastic job. We originally contacted SEC to provide full service catering and American style food, with the intent of having another restaurant provide Indian food. However, SEC’s chef offered to make the Indian food for our tasting, and it was delicious. As a result, SEC catered both style menus. They also worked with us to develop a mostly vegetarian menu to meet the needs of the groom and many of our guests. A few of our guests actually commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had.

Sam of SEC was very helpful and responsive, and his entire staff seemed eager to work with us to help make our event run smoothly and meet our wishes. And SEC’s services were very reasonably priced.

Overall, I can’t say enough good things about SEC, and would recommend them to anyone looking for delicious food with friendly service. I would also recommend SEC to anyone looking to have a not-so-traditional event, as Sam and his team were very helpful in making suggestions to help our wedding day run smoothly, and at the same time develop a menu and environment that met our diverse needs.

I cannot recommend SEC highly enough. Sam and Michele are fantastic and literally catered to every need I had. They answered questions and helped me navigate the difficult system of planning a wedding. They work with excellent vendors and made my wedding day a breeze. They even helped me get a cake 3 days before my wedding because my vendor fell through!!! Awesome!!!!

I was incredibly pleased with the food and service of Simply Elegant Catering, Inc. My guests RAVED about the food. Every meal was perfect. I heard from my Mother in-law that one of our guests saw the dishes coming out and noticed the carrots on a plate. Her comment was that she hopes she doesn't get carrots because she hates carrots. This woman's plate arrived and she finished every glazed carrot on her plate. Food brings families together and Great food adds love to the mix. I would highly recommend Simply Elegant Catering for any event, especially a wedding!

We cannot say enought about Simply Elegant Catering, Michele, Sam and all their staff. From the day we booked, we felt like we were the only customers in the world. Their attention to details for our wedding reception was impeccable. The venue is gorgeous and the recent renovations have really raised the bar on the ballroom and bridal suite. We hope to plan another event just to work with them again! If you are looking for a gorgeous sunset, top notch food, and attention to details for your wedding or event, look no further!

Simply Elegant was by far one of my favorite vendors. Sam, my main contact throughout the wedding planning, went way above and beyond. From my first experience with him over a year out from the wedding, he was totally accommodating, meeting me in a convenient location and even coming to my parent’s house for our big planning meeting. His communication was always thorough and prompt, and he never made me feel like I was putting him out by asking questions. When we had some issues with the staff at our venue, Sam was able to take over some of the ordering of linens, etc. that weren’t really his responsibility. He is also incredibly detail oriented and thoughtful. For example, he even ordered napkins to put in the bread basket that matched my color scheme, which I would not have thought of, but was a nice touch. When it came to “crunch time”, Sam really took charge and made sure everything came together perfectly. He was a reassuring presence in the planning meetings.

Overall, I feel like the price we were charged for everything was more than fair, and a quite a bargain based on what I have heard others pay. I never felt like we were being nickel and dimed for the changes and upgrades we made. The food was incredible, and guests were raving about it and even called my parents after to tell them how great the food was. The wait staff was also really good. They made sure we had hors d’oeurvres brought out to us while we were taking pictures, and they were really nice and friendly while still being fairly inconspicuous.

The food is nothing short of excellent! Everything was perfectly prepared and cooked from the hors d'ourves to dinner. Our guests are still raving about it after almost a month. We served the baked haddock, chicken piccata with a roast beef station and roasted potatoes and a fall mix of veggies. After the festivities were over the owner came into the bridal suite as I was gathering my things and asked how everything was. I thought it was great of him to check in to see if we enjoyed our selves. Truely awesome expericence!

Sam was great to work with and helped me put together a great menu for my summer wedding. The guests raved about the food and I especially appreciated how my husband and I were served separately from the buffet so we actually got to eat! They were very accommodating as far as people with special requests. Sam had some great suggestions on how to manage the crowd of 180 as far as moving the buffet lines quickly and not having a ton of people standing in line all the time. I was very happy with all aspects of this vendor.
