Julia was easy to work: very. helpful during the choosing process, efficient during the site visit, and brought impeccable service team to the venue. All the offerings were excellent - the presentations and the quality of food. Her staff were quietly responsive, but did not make us feel rushed. Break the norm and make your party different with The Shuck Truck. Where do we even begin with our amazing service. We got married in Capecod 9/7/2024. We first went to meet Julia Nadler at her shop for a taste testing and that was the start of our excitement for wedding planning. She has a variety of decadent dishes to choose from and we knew we had to have her award winning lobster rolls for our wedding! Raving reviews from our family and friends. We started our wedding with cocktail hour including shrimp shooters, chicken and waffles, whipped ricotta crostini and a tomato tartlet. Everything was passed by servers with elegance and speed. We were served dinner starting with a citrus heirloom salad followed with warm rolls, my husband chose the lobster roll with purple potato salad and I had short rib with truffle mashed potatoes and carrots. When I say it was one of the best choices we made, we mean it. I’ve never had such amazing food at a wedding. We wanted to be different from the standard boring ballroom dinners and are so happy we booked the shuck truck. She’s a light spirit always in a great mood, has everything under control and is extremely professional but a relatable person at the end of the day! She cares what you think, what you want to change and checks in with you along the way during planning. The full service staff put my spiraling bridal brain at ease, assisted with setting the tables and worked so well with my coordinator to make the beach side tent (Chequessett CC) look amazing! If we could have her host every event for our next life mile stones we would and will. Don’t wait for “the other guy” just book the tasting with Julia and have your mind blown away! Julia and her team were a gift from heaven. Julia is such a joy to work with and the food was out of this world. My husband and I had a laid back wedding, but having fantastic food was non-negotiable. The one vision I had for our wedding was lobster rolls and delicious seafood, and the boy did the Shuck Food Truck deliver. It has been 4 months from our wedding, and people are STILL talking about how amazing the food was. Truly the highlight of our wedding. Julia and her team were also extremely flexible. About a month before our wedding we included a few add ons (such as a grazing station... a must have) and we switched from food-truck style to a seated dinner. Despite being last minute, they made it happen and the day-of was seamless. The passed apps were phenomenal, I could not sing enough praises, and we also had a raw bar (oysters and little neck clams) that was a HUGE hit! I was so happy to add on the grazing stations as well. For entrees we had lobster rolls, steak, and a vegetarian succotash. The best lobster roll I have ever had!!! Everything was also reasonably priced. I can not give enough praise to the Shuck Truck. I would get married again just to have them cater it. Please do yourself a favor and secure the Shuck Truck for your event. It will be the best decision you make.

We were THRILLED with our experience with Julia and Shuck Food Truck. The tasting with her had blown us away, and the food at our wedding was incredible! Shuck Food Truck is a true foodie's caterer - she put so much creativity and care into our menu, and helped personalize several dishes to fit with Russian cuisine. Guests raved about the oyster bar, the short rib, the scallops on rosemary skewers, as well as the passed apps. Julia prepares truly gourmet food at incredibly reasonable prices, and she was always flexible and transparent with us. We had been nervous with going with a smaller / newer caterer when we were deciding on vendors back in 2020, but we're so glad we chose Julia! We got the small business owner's personal touch, and our night went off without a hitch. Thanks for everything Julia!

Working with the Shuck Truck was a 5-star experience not only for my Bride and Groom/their guests, but also for myself as a local wedding and event planner. From setup to breakdown Julia and her team did not miss a beat! Upon arriving on-site her team was prompt and ready to get to work setting up all rental items, prepping their food and communicating clearly and efficiently with my team to ensure no efforts were duplicated. There were plenty of food & beverage staff on-site to execute all of our discussed plans including passed drinks upon arrival, live oyster shucking at the raw bar, signature cocktails, tableside champagne, wine and dinner service. Not a step was missed and their team was professional and welcoming to all guests through it all. The food tasted so exceptional you would have never known that it was being cooked in a truck on-site! From a raw bar and top notch grazing table with passed apps for cocktail hour to a seasonal salad followed by (3) entrée selections (the lobster roll was my favorite!) for dinner service, topped off with passed homemade cookies with ice cream sandwiched between no guest or vendor left hungry. They stayed until the bar was closed down and cleared all tables/linen for the rental company to pick-up and cleaned their prep area before even considering stepping off-site. We held multiple calls prior to the wedding to ensure all was in place and Julia's recommendations were pivotal in the success of the wedding day. From ice delivery to trash removal she thought of it all and provided brilliant solutions along the way. I am so glad we had the opportunity to work together I cannot wait to hire them for many future events!

Hiring Julia and the Shuck Food Truck team to cater our wedding was the best decision we ever made. She was a delight to work with throughout the planning process, even when we had some challenges to navigate with our venue. Our guests all raved about the food, which was not only delicious, but beautifully prepared and plated. Furthermore, we had several allergies and dietary preferences to accomodate, and she did so very easily so that everyone could have a wonderful meal. It was sophisticated, yet half the price of the other caterers recommended by our venue.
