What an amazing experience! The only dress shop I went to that actually listened to my budget and what I wanted in a dress! Everyone there was sweet and very helpful!

My dress was perfect. The tailor was amazing. She always helped me with the entire look. Earrings, shoes, all purchased there and I was sooo happy with the results. Highly recommend!!!

I don't need to comment about how hectic it is to find "The Dress," they even have T.V. shows about it! When I walked into Sarasota Brides, I had already travelled out of town and purchased my dress. I wasn't looking for a dress, but family members' comments about the dress I had purchased really had me "down in the dumps." I walked in and everyone was very attentive. Victoria offerred to help me and I explained my plight, she was very empathetic and considerate. She took one look at me and asked me a few questions. She pulled out some dresses that I chose but also she chose a dress she thought would look good on me-one that I would have never thought to choose. I tried on my choices, she gave me helpful guidance and direction. I put on the dress she recommended and I was amazed! The dress not only fit me well but it actually "hid" my 40 + year old problem areas! Her insght and advice led to me to make the perfect choice. She was helpful, kind and never pressured me. The store staff were also very helpful and efficient. I feel foolish that I travelled so far to buy something that was literally a few blocks from where I lived. Their prices are reasonable and I received a certificate towards cleaning the dress after the wedding. I recommend that you visit their store first and save your self time and effort, they are great people.

I ended up purchasing my dress here after my sister's excellent experience! I researched and shopped the tampa bay, orlando, and miami areas. Sarasota Brides was still number one, they price matched my dream dress to an unbelievealbe price. I first saw this designer dress in a brial magagzine and loved it! I have to say they have a top of the line seamstress!! This woman is amazing she made my dress looks unbelievable when she was done. I didn't even image a dress could look this good. We they were done with everything I was so thankful and happy that I choose this boutique!

"Sarasota Brides was the only place i needed to visit... Carol greeted me as soon as i walked in the door and helped me choose a dress that would fit my style, my dream and my price range. I had a harder time finding my bridesmaid dresses, since we were going with a 20's theme ,but Carol wouldn't give up searching until I was beyond pleased and fell in love with a dress for my girls. I started looking for my wedding dress well over a year before my wedding day! From my first appointment with Kristy, I loved it there! Kristy was so great with me and my family even though my wedding was far away at the time. I found a dress on the first appointment! It was actually one that Kristy pulled. I ended up going with an Allure Bridal gown well within my price range! Since I bought my dress on my first visit I received a discount!

I absolutely love the ambiance of Sarasota Brides. There dresses are to die for! I spent lots of time there since my engagement and they were welcoming every time! Alterations were fabulous!!! I went for three fittings. Nena was my alterations lady and she was so fun. She ended up having to take in my dress and actually re-sew on all the beading. My gown fit perfectly.

I also chose my bridesmaids dresses at Sarasota Brides. The staff even helped me with color ideas. I really wanted all pink dresses, but they insisted that I should add my secondary color (champagne) to the dress to complete the look. I am so happy I did that! I think the dresses turned out wonderful. I chose Bill Levkoff dresses. My maid of honor had a different style and had hers altered to a sweetheart. Some of the girls had their dresses shipped and others picked them up in the store. There were a few phone call confusions, but as soon as Kristy or another staff member who knew my wedding party got on the phone, everything was worked out.

The flower girl dress was from US Angels and a simple order for Sarasota Brides! Again Kristy helped me with colors and it matched perfectly. Sarasota Brides was so great throughout the whole process I would totally recommend them to anyone. They genuinely cared about my wedding and every detail! I will miss stopping by there!

I thought this was a great shop. By appointment -which is good to know but they have a really nice selection of wedding dresses with a large amount of bridesmaids dresses on hand to look at as well. I found my dress right away. I felt the store was very comfortable and friendly and I felt at ease the entire time. When it came time for my last fitting the store was closed that day but let me in the back for a special appointment. My two complaints, the ring pillow we bought was very expensive and they don't seem to use email, which is alittle frustrating when you are trying to plan a wedding from work and don't have time to be on the phone giving measurements and checking on fitting dates. Otherwise a perect experience.

They have beautiful dresses. I thought they would be VERY expensive but most of the dresses I tried on were under $1,000. They sent me a thank you note for stopping in which was nice. I got the most beautiful dress and the alterations were perfect.

I love my dress! It was elegant and classy and beautiful. They had a wide selection and their staff is very helpful. They have many ideas for you and will try different things if you do not like what you choose. I live in Colorado so I was a bit skeptical about leaving my dress in FL (where the ceremony/reception was) however, they were wonderful and took perfect care of my dress. They do not charge extra to store the dress and it saved me a lot of hassle trying to transport. They handled the alterations and everything else as well. They also provided a 10% discount for everything purchased from their store. The employees were helpful and friendly. Thanks!

By the time I visited Sarasota Brides, I had already gotten my gown and scheduled my alterations, but we did get the men's tuxes from there. I was so impressed by the wide variety of dresses, both wedding gowns, and bridesmaid's dresses. Probably the largest variety I have seen at any of the stores. I wish that I would have gone there for both my gown and my bridesmaid dresses. The people who handled the tuxes were also amazing. The girl who helped us pick them out knew exactly what she was doing and presented the options so matter of factly that we were able to pick out the tux within 15 minutes. When we picked the tuxes up, they all fit perfectly and the lady who helped us this time was also very friendly.

When I was gettin married, this was the 2nd place I went to for finding a dress...It was on clearance and got it at an awesome price! The manager helped me out a great deal and the alternation ladies were just as awesome! I would highly recommend this place and me living in Port Charlotte, it was worth the drive for my fittings and such! Good luck on your upcoming day on whoever may be reading this (future brides)

Karis is the owner and operator of Sarasota Brides and she makes herself known and available to all the brides who pass through her doors. I was impressed with their quality and courteousness of service; even when they were busy helping other brides before me, they made sure that my presence was acknowledge and I would be helped soon. The prices are a bit higher than I had budgeted, but my dress was purchased at their annual sample sale, and thus I received an incredible discount.
