I 100% recommend Wendy for wedding dress alterations! She has years of experience in the wedding industry, and it really shows. She is incredibly knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and takes the time to make sure everything is done right.

One thing I really appreciated is that she breaks the alterations into stages, so you’re only paying for what needs to be done at that time. She also plans fittings around things like possible weight loss instead of altering everything too early. My dress was very complicated and covered in lace, but she had everything finished beautifully in about a month and chose the perfect bustle for it!

What really sets Wendy apart, though, are all the little things. Before my first appointment, she gave me tips on how to prepare, including how to break in my heels. At my final fitting, she gave my friends and me a full lesson on how to bustle and button the dress, plus how to walk, sit, and even get in and out of a car while wearing it. You think you know how to do those things until you’re actually in a wedding dress! 😂

She did an amazing job, made the entire process so easy, and I couldn’t be happier with how my dress turned out. She even offered to help me transform my dress into something new after the wedding, which I can’t wait to do. I’ll have to update this review when that happens!

Wendy was amazing to work with! My wedding dress had a lot of detailing, and her work was seamless! She took the top in, moved the inner belt up, I think maybe replaced the belt too (unsure about that part), added 9 hook and eyes for the bustle, trimmed the bottom according to the length it should be when bustled, and I last minute needed the front fixed where my hips were pulling the fabric funny. She adjusted the lace layers to camouflage the part I wasn’t fond of. This was my choice after she gave me multiple options and ways we could tackle the problem.

In addition to her craftsmanship, she was SO HELPFUL and knowledgeable. She let me come in and try on my dress two extra times in between scheduled fittings because I wasn’t sure about a couple of areas. She ensured my dress was the right fit for where I wanted the neckline to land on my chest. She taught me how to walk, sit, stand and get into the dress. Was very thorough in her demonstration to myself and a friend on how to bustle the dress. And she was kind, respectful, and lovely to work with. I am grateful for her expertise!

These alterations ran just over $500 total. Which seems fair given all the help she provided and the detail of the dress. I’ll try to remember to update with a photo after the wedding 😊

Wendy is absolute perfection. From start to finish, she was punctual, incredibly professional, and someone I trusted completely with my wedding dress.
She handled my 8-layer princess ballgown with a 6-foot train like an absolute boss. Not once did I feel nervous; I knew my dress was in the best hands the entire time. At one point, the cups in my dress started to turn yellow. Wendy didn’t hesitate, ripped them right out, looked at me and said, “Trust me!” And wow, my dress turned out beyond perfect. On the wedding day, I truly couldn’t take my eyes off of it.
She taught my sister how to correctly corset and bustle my dress, and she also taught me how to walk and sit properly in my dress.
If you are looking for someone who is skilled, confident, and genuinely cares about their craft, Wendy is it. I cannot recommend her enough.

Wendy was really great to work with! She did an amazing job on my wedding dress and the whole process was about 1.5 months for a very intricate lace gown. She made it fit to my body perfectly! Her pricing is very reasonable, especially knowing the hours and perfection she put into hand sewing the lace. Would highly recommend!

I worked with Wendy in the beginning of January this year and my wedding dress turned out amazing. I was extremely happy with all the alterations I needed, which were a lot. She gave her professional opinion which was valued since she has lots of experience. She even worked with me to create a a bustle I envisioned, even though it was difficult with 23 bustle points. Like my mom said when we would visit her, Wendy has magic in her hands!!!! Wendy worked on my dress, my mom’s dress, and my mother-in-law’s dress for my wedding and she did such a PHENOMENAL job!!!! Wendy is very detail oriented, honest, and very fair in pricing. The recommendations she had for our dress were truly things that we never even thought about!
