I just picked my dress up from final alterations and could not be happier! I have a luxury dress with a lot of lace, sequins, and fabric and I was scared to let anyone touch it. Thankfully, a friend recommended Wendy to me and I’m so glad that she did. The bottom of my dress had to be cut and restitched on due to the floral appliqué at the hem. I had no idea how this could possibly go well, but Wendy made it look as through the dress had never been touched and yet somehow looked even more perfect for me. I 100% recommend Wendy for any and all types of dresses - if she can alter mine then she can alter anything! -

Dependable and excellence!
We used Wendy for my oldest daughter’s wedding dress, and she did excellent then, so we felt confident to use her for my second daughter’s wedding dress. Wendy worked well with us to get the fittings in, though we had a short window of time. She was generous and kind through each step. There was a need right at the end and Wendy went beyond the call of duty to resolve it. As the mother of the bride, I’m so grateful to her. She gave us peace and calm and an absolutely Beautiful wedding dress! 🙌🏻 -

Wendy did an amazing job with my dress alterations! I ordered my dress second hand, Wendy was able to add matching straps, redo the French bustle, and take it in 2 dress sizes! -

Wendy was phenomenal from start to finish with altering my wedding dress! My dress was 2 sizes too big and she made it to where it fit perfectly. Made sure I was completely happy with my dress. Took the time to show my maid of honor how to bustle my dress as well. Cannot thank her enough for the work and time she put into it. I had so many compliments on my dress all thanks to Wendy!!! -

Ms. Wendy is an amazing seamstress to work with. She did an amazing job on my wedding dress. I can say my dress fitted me gorgeously too. I added a picture with my brother too. I most certainly was able to pull off wearing my favorite color for my special day. -

Wendy is a really skilled alterations specialist.
I found Wendy here on WeddingWire. After messaging her she was very responsive and was able to immediately fit me into her schedule. We set up a meeting and I went to her house/office with my dress.
Wendy was very knowledgeable and informative about what alterations I might want or needed. She never tried to upsell me on expensive alterations - only told me what I would need in order to have the perfect fit for my wedding dress.
Since I planned on having a barefoot beach wedding, and the dress I had purchased had nearly fit me like a glove, we decided that I would need only hemming on the bottom layers (so they wouldn’t drag) as well as a bustle for the train. She also added an interior belt (to help keep my dress up because it was strapless) as well as some cups just to keep me more comfortably in place.
She set up two fittings after I left the dress with her, all over the the span of only two months. Each time checking with me, communicating the details, and answering all of my questions.
In less than 3 months she took my dress from being too long and loose to fitting me PERFECTLY on my big day. And my girls 🍈🍈 looked INCREDIBLE 🤣
She also took the time to reach me and record a video of my dress bustle so I would know how to (or can teach someone at my wedding) to bustle it (since there were around 12 buttons!)
Not only that, but she was half the price of the big box stores (who tried to sell me crazy alterations even I knew I didn’t need).
Wendy is so personable and kind and patient. I highly recommend her device to any bride - or anyone needing alterations. I will forever be grateful to her for helping me look and feel so beautiful in my dress on my big day! -

Thanks to Wendy my dream dress fits me perfectly now! I was so disappointed when my dress arrived and did not fit me. I went to a first seamstress that told me it could not be let out. I even started looking for another dress and realized I really loved the dress I said yes to first! I decided to see if I could get a second opinion, maybe someone else could help me. I found Wendy and she worked her magic !! She gave me hope that my dream dress would fit and she MADE IT HAPPEN! She is pleasant, kind, and professional, on top of being very fairly priced. Highly recommend!!! -

Fantastic Seamstress and Lady
Wendy altered my wedding dress and a bridal shower dress and I could not be more happy with the results. She was flexible with scheduling and outlined her plan to finish the alterations with me. She was kind, friendly and professional. She did an absolutely beautiful job on both of my dresses you cannot tell she altered them even within very fine details. She is very particular in the best way and makes sure everything is how you want it. I am so happy with my dress and getting to wear it on my big day was a dream come true. She even had an appointment for my maid of honor to learn how to put up my bustle and she was so patient and such a good explainer. I would recommend Wendy to anyone who wants or needs alterations. She has extremely fair prices and over the top work. Lastly, she is an incredibly kind and warm lady who loves what she does. -

Wendy is an extremely talented seamstress. My wedding dress was fairly complicated (lots of beading, lace, trim) but she was able to alter multiple aspects of it with ease and skill. I am so happy I trusted her with my dress!! It fit me beautifully. I highly recommend Wendy for your alterations, big or small. -

It was a pleasure to work with Wendy! I met Wendy when I was at an alterations appointment for my friend for her wedding dress. My friend had such a great experience with Wendy that I knew I would have her do my wedding dress. Wendy was professional, kind, and flexible. I had to change my initial alterations appointment a few times and she was able to accommodate me without any hesitation. Wendy did such a fantastic job on my wedding dress! I loved how detailed oriented she was and how she wants to make your dress look absolutely perfect. She spent extra time with my long train and bustle. She was also patient and thorough with her directions with my bridesmaids when explaining the bustle process. I never felt more beautiful! Thank you again Wendy! -

Wendy did an amazing job on my wedding dress. I am short so many alterations had to be made. Everything was timed perfectly and the dress came out beautiful! She will tell you what will look right and what won't. The best part is her prices. They are great and so afffordable! -

I bought my wedding dress of Facebook marketplace from a recent bride who didn't see the need to hang onto her dress. I had a consult with Wendy and returned for alterations, and she made my dress fit like it was designed specifically for me! I have uneven breasts and an asymmetric chest wall deformity that she did a great job hiding and offered options to further cover it up but I didn't feel I needed it after her alterations. Amazing job, highly recommend! -

Definitely a GO TO!!
It was a pleasure working with Wendy for my wedding this past July! She’s VERY prompt and offers suggestions. Make sure you eat before your fittings. I had such a busy day before seeing her and I wasn’t feeling well. She allowed me to rest and provided me with crackers and water. She’s such a sweetheart! Excellent work! -

Wendy did an absolutely amazing job altering my wedding dress and I would highly recommend her to any future brides. My original dress was almost an entire size too big and way too long and I was very nervous about how it would fit on my wedding day. Wendy reassured me during the entire process and even worked in an extra fitting to calm my nerves. My final dress was even better than I imagined and fit me like a glove. Wendy's ample bridal experience truly sets her apart and she will do everything in her power to meet your needs! -
