A gorgeous wedding venue!!! We booked over a year in advance because once we saw the place, we absolutely had to have our wedding there. We didn't decorate much, because the grounds are great the way they are. Robert (owner) and his staff do a great job and they are always working to make the place better. Our guests raved about how great the Sanders Mansion property was. They enjoyed exploring the property and taking photos in front of the mansion, of the pond, the pergola, the flower gardens, the rose pond, etc. It was a million times better than being stuck in a banquet hall somewhere. Lindsay ended up being our day of contact. She really helped us a lot and put my mind at ease about how the day would go. She fielded my crazy bride questions perfectly. I had a little trouble with communication in the months closer to the wedding, but it's pretty understandable because my wedding was toward the end of the busy summer wedding season. Every vendor I had was very busy in the months of May through August. I did feel the pricing was a little high, but not high enough to make me go elsewhere.

This was such a beautiful place to have a wedding! We did a "tea-party" theme and it turned out great with all of the wild flowers and roses growing! Everyone was very nice and helpful when it came to setting up and tearing down for the wedding and we were very pleased with how the ceremony turned out!

The first time we toured Sanders Mansion we knew it was the one. It had the elegant outdoor charm we were looking for. The planning went great with Robert and Kim, they were very accommodating to us and helped us with every question we had. Kim went out of her way the week before the wedding and the day of the wedding to make sure things got taken care of, including letting my dad bring industrial size fans the day before the wedding because it was going to be 90+ degrees out. She really was amazing to us!

I gave them a 3.5 out of 5 for responsiveness because there were a few emails that took awhile to get replied to and they took awhile to call my future father in law back about a time sensitive question and he was not to happy about it.

I also gave them less stars for value of cost because we had to add on the lower tent option and it ended up being a lot more then we had budgeted for (we toured before it was built and the cost of adding it on was unknown at the time).

Overall though I would highly recommend having your wedding here, it gives you great outdoor options but the tents give you a great backup incase of rain.

It is a very beautiful location with so many great spots to take pictures and a very nice back drop to a wedding ceramony. They tried to accomodate us and were very helpful about letting us get decorations up. It would be very hard to find a more beautiful spot for a wedding!
