My wedding cake from Publix was beautiful and VERY delicious, and their prices are great. The only problem I had with them was that I ordered my cake topper 2 months in advance and they didn't tell me until the week before my wedding that it was discontinued and I had to choose another one. But they did get one that was almost exactly the same as the one I originally chose, and the cake was a great value. I had so many people comment on how delicious it was, I would definitely recommend them for any event where you need a good cake.

LaDonna at Publix Bakery in Franklin was great to work with in choosing our cake. So many of our guests commented on how delicious our cake was and that most wedding cake is usually dry, but our Publix cake was beautiful, moist and totally delicious! I couldn't decide on a topper, so LaDonna helped us pick flowers to coordinate with my bouquet. The cake was vanilla with both a raspberry and a lemon curd filling between the layers (each tier had 3 layers so choice of 2 fillings) with ivory butter-cream icing. The design was simple and elegant and it went perfectly with the design on my invitation. She also helped us save by making sheet cakes with the same fillings to cut in the venue's kitchen so I didn't have a 5 or 6 tier cake just to feed all of my guests. The price was budget-friendly and I found a coupon online that helped too. The delivery went smoothly and I had no worries through the whole process.

Publix was a great choice for us. We didn't want to spend too much on our cake. We were more into flowers and music than cake. Publix was affordable, delicious and the staff was very helpful. I wouldn't recommend getting the black icing. We had a white cake with black scroll icing. Every one that ate it had black teeth and we had stained fingers from feeding each other.

I was so happy with the quality of service from Publix! I showed them the picture of the "butterfly cake" from the Martha Stewart weddings magazine and they created a cake even prettier than that picture. Plus the cake tasted wonderful! They only charge $30 to deliver the cake. It's a great deal for the budget bride.

Publix did a great job on my cake. They did my grooms cake too. It was a hit. There was not a single piece left. My wedding cake was ok. The taste was great, but the colors were not what I wanted. So make sure you really make sure they understand the color you want. I wanted chocolate brown icing and it looked pink!!! But other than that the cake turned out great. Not a single piece was left

Our cake ended up being awful. We should have spent the extra and used a professional wedding cake bakery.

Same story as the last person. If you are going to order a cake from them, pick one of the cakes from their book. They promised mine would look just like the picture I brought them and it was a disaster. I was embarassed to have it at my wedding and I've hidden all the pictures of it. This was the only thing that wasn't perfect with the day and it was a huge let down. I went to the Nipper's Corner Publix near Brentwood, TN.

They were able to put my cake together in a week, and they had it done on time and looking beautiful! They did a great job and they were very inexpensive.

We got a million comments on how good our wedding cake was. We chose the classic buttercream cake with the rasberry filling, it was wonderful. The price was sooo cheap and publix was so easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I never imagined I would order my wedding cake from a grocery store, but I am so glad that I did. They had everything that I could have wanted, they were reasonably priced, and they were highly recommended by our reception venue. A bakery is a bakery, wheter it is in a grocery store or in a stand alone store. If you think about it, the public grocery stores are under high amounts of survelence from managers, department managers, reginal manager, not to mention the health department. Plus you are actually paying for what it costs for flower, sugar, and water. Not everything else!
