Deborah did my make-up for my wedding. She seemed rushed and mentioned that her daughter had called and would be there soon as she had to have a drive to work. She very quickly applied my make up, and it looked ok, except for my eyes. She had used a mauve colour, and it wasn't even visible on my eyes 5 minutes after application, it just made my eyes look puffy to be honest. I ended up re-doing my eye make-up after getting home as I wasn't happy with how it turned out. This made me have to rush to get into my dress for pictures as I had very carefully scheduled out the morning's tasks, and I certainly didn't plan on having to re-do my eye make-up! I wouldn't go back again as I didn't feel that my business was appreciated, I had an appointment for 11, but I was made to wait until 11:20. I waited while she finished a manicure on someone who had an appointment after me, but she took her in because she was done a previous appointment early and my hair was 5 minutes away from being done at 10:45. When she was ready for me, I felt uneasy as I could sense she was PO'd (maybe about driving her daughter to work?). It seemed as if she couldn't wait to get me out of her chair and office. Maybe I got her on a bad day, but from my experience with health/beauty professionals, you should never know if they are having a bad day, and you should always be made to feel as if your business is appreciated and welcomed. I did not have that experience, and my make-up wasn't great until I re-did it myself.
