Denise did an excellent job making the reception pop with the beautiful flowers she added to the tables.
The brides bouquet was perfect and just what she had asked Denise to create. I loved all of the flowers Denise designed for the participants in the wedding. I would highly recommend you use Flowers by Denise for any of your flower needs. Denise was a joy to work with and had many great ideas to make our evening special.

My future sister-in-law passed along Denise's name as a suggestion for our florist. She was fantastic! I had a hard time explaining what I wanted, yet she was able to perfectly decipher my messages and gave me exactly what I wanted! Now, that's talent! I cannot recommend Denise more highly for your wedding...or for any event!

Being from the LA area, I wasn't sure how working with a florist long distance would pan out during the wedding process. During my research for florists in the Paso area, I was having a hard time finding someone who would fit the natural asthetic I was going for. I stumbled on Denise's information after another florist I contacted was already booked and directed me to her. It could not have worked out better. My husband and I met with Denise at our vineyard location. From the very beginning I stressed the importance of how I didn't want our wedding to have a "bridal" feel. I wanted things to be natural, rustic and embrace the beauty of the vineyard. I also didn't have "wedding colors" which a lot of people couldn't wrap their head around. Denise got it instantly. The minute we met with her things clicked. She asked me a lot of questions of what I liked, didn't like, etc and came up with some great suggestions. She put together a beautiful proposal of multi colored florals, wood slices & lanterns for our centerpieces and worked with our caterer to make sure the entire decor was cohesive. She also gave excellent ideas such as jute wrap for the bouquets and men's boutonnieres to tie into the natural feel and our invitations. I only met once with Denise in person, the rest was thru email and phone. She got back to me in a timely fashion and was always enthusiastic about our wedding day. The minute I got to the vineyard the first thing I heard was "your bouquet is beautiful" from our photographer, then I saw a vintage box with the men's boutonniere's which were AWESOME, and I was thrilled when I saw the bouquets. She added a special touch to mine with gold pins and the flower girls accessories were darling. The headband was dainty with cute florals and the basket was made out of natural elements and grass. Denise also "wowed" our guests with the centerpieces. They were exactly what I envisioned, natural, tasteful and totally fit within their environment. Even the vineyard complimented how beautiful the flowers were and unique from others they'd seen in the past. I could go on and on in regards to how pleased we were with Denise. She's a great person to work with and definitely executes as promised. She also listens and wants to make sure she's delivering the vision you have in mind. I would highly recommend booking her for your wedding.

Denise was an absolute dream to work with. I do not think I can put into words how amazing she was. The details that Denise added helped to make the room look amazing, everything seemed to be done so thoughtfully. She helped decorate the cake table, the centerpieces looked perfect, the flower petals going down the aisle...we could go on and on. We were just so unbelievably impressed with all your work. Oh, and the bouquets and the boutonnieres, they were amazing, exactly what we had imagined.
She also had such quick responses throughout the whole process and listened to all our ideas..it was like she could see everything we were imagining :)
I would highly recommend Denise if you are getting married on the Central Coast or really anywhere. She is the best!!!!!!

If I could give Denise more than 5 stars I would… When I walked into the venue the flowers took my breath away!! Denise was able to capture my vision and help set the theme for my wedding. From the beginning Denise was a dream to work with. She really took the time to understand what color, flowers, and theme I was looking for. The flowers exceeded my expectation and I am more than in love with them. The bouquets she made were so beautiful even down to the ribbon she used. I had a specific idea of what I wanted the boutonnieres to look like and she made them look better than I could have ever thought. Denise is an amazing florist and will truly make your wedding look amazing! I recommend her to everyone.

Denise really listened to the vision I had in mind for my centerpieces and they turned out fantastic! She even made them so guests could take home the flowers inside at the end of the night while her staff came back at the end of the night to collect the vases we used...this made it super convenient too for everyone.

I LOVED my bouquet and in fact it is drying right now ready to be preserved. We received MANY compliments on the flowers and the menu blooms were a bit hit as well; really added that pop of color to the table.

Denise was very professional and was on top of everything I requested. Her staff did not leave the venue site until everyone had bee pinned with either a corsage or a boutonniere. This was much appreciated because everyone knows how tricky those can be to pin on.

Being a horticulture major in college I am very particular when it comes to floral design. My fiance and I spoke with a number of florists before hiring Flowers by Denise for our wedding. With a horticulture and floriculture background I tend to have an overly critical eye, that being said I can't speak highly enough about the service we received from Denise. Denise took our vision and created something that was beyond our expectations, the flowers were absolutely stunning! denise was the best, in every way for flowers, and ease to work with. never worried a bit about how things were going to turn out.

Denise is flexible, and communicated very well what she planned for my wedding bouquets and flower arrangements. The pictures she chose for her website gave me the confidence to know I was picking the right person. She's got a great eye for beautiful arrangements. She did an amazing job, with my vague ideas of incorporating a beach theme, and beach-like colors. The conch shell was a great idea, and the bouquets and corsage for my dauther & mother were perfectly matched in our photos. She did a great job of incorporating my favorite flower (tuberose), esp. on his boutinerre (sp?). (My only suggestion is ask for instructions on how to pin boutinerres & corsages.) 5 stars for creativity!

Denise really worked with us to create a beautiful wedding. We had a tight budget for flowers and decor but that didn't stop Denise from creating a gorgeous scene. If you are on a budget but really want something elegent and tasteful, I recommend Denise. Not to mention, she was always a pleasure to be around.

The flowers were more than I could have ever imagined! They literally took my breath away! Denise was so great to work with, she made the most amazing things with very little direction from us. I wish we had another big event to plan just to use her again!

Derek and I recently got married on 8/7/10, and Denise did a wonderful job on our floral designs and decorating the ceiling of our reception area. Our flowers were so beautiful, full of color and more than we could have dreamed of. Denise is not only a lovely person, but her floral designs are absolutely divine!! Everyone is still raving about the flower arrangements she did for our wedding... but Denise is a really nice, positive person and she is really easy to work with... we would use her again in a heartbeat!
