Blue Blossoms is a wedding florist based out of Santa Barbara, California. Ingrid Kraukle and her daughter, Laura Goycochea, opened this business in 2017. Laura's lifelong love of flowers was inspired by Ingrid. Together, they would pick wildflowers, and create whimsical bouquets and flower crowns. Blue Blossoms started as a flower delivery service, so Ingrid could be surrounded by fresh blossoms and create artful bouquets every day. Ingrid and Laura hope to share the joy and love they feel for flower arranging with couples as they try to bring their dream wedding florals to life.
Services Offered
Before Blue Blossoms starts designing your wedding flowers, Kiara or Laura will send you the floral questionnaire to get a better sense of your vision. Following the questionnaire, you can schedule an in-person meeting or phone consultation to further discuss and brainstorm your floral designs. Next, they will create your floral proposal for you to review and request modifications as needed. After the proposal is finalized, they will send you the contract to secure your booking! They are also happy to arrange a venue visit to decide what arrangements would work best in your chosen space. Delivery, setup, and cleanup are on offer, too. Some of the floral products you can choose from include:
- Personal flowers such as a bridal bouquet, boutonniere, corsage, and more
- Altar flowers in various styles such as chuppah, deconstructed, ground crescent, pedestals, and more
- Aisle flowers such as aisle markers, chair flowers, rose petals, and more
- Cocktail flowers
- Reception flowers including centerpieces, bud vases, ikebanas, cake flowers, and more

Two-day June Wedding in Santa Barbara
I’m not sure how I found them, it was probably either WeddingWire or through Instagram. I sent them an email and they were quick to respond. I am from the Bay Area so I actually did not meet with them in person. I sent them a PowerPoint slide with my desired colors, theme, and flowers that I was looking for.
Of course I was super nervous as I had not met up with them in person but oh my gosh they did such a marvelous job! I was over the moon of their execution. For our wedding, they did our mandap (alter), my bridal bouquet, our garlands, aisle decor, and two large arrangements that we used both at the beach and inside the venue. For our reception the next day, they decorated our backdrop arch and two large arrangements on the sides.
They made my vision come to life. It was so much better than I could have imagined. I truly believe that the floral work was really what made our events pop and be so unique.
They were so easy to work with and they were very responsive as well. I am so grateful that I chose them as a vendor. I highly recommend you use them for your next event! You will not regret it!
Stunning Santa Barbara wedding florals
The florals for our wedding were stunning and beautiful - I received so many compliments and I was obsessed with them. They exceeded all of my expectations and I am so happy with how everything turned out. The quality of the arrangements were stellar and the selected flowers were perfect.
