Kay, from Fiber of Her Being, made me a gorgeous ceremonial wedding quilt. We asked friends and family to send a little trinket, button, piece of fabric, picture, etc., and then Kay designed a beautiful keepsake quilt out of all the items. Even though the items were all very different (soccer pictures, ornaments, paper cranes, bookmark, etc.) she was able to make them all fit together. We displayed the quilt at the wedding, and all of our guests were able to find the memorabilia that they had sent us, and also see what everyone else had sent. All of the guests loved it! I can't describe how much I love this quilt (it is really more like a piece of art), and how thankful I am to Kay for making it! She is wonderful- don't pass up a chance to work with her! Her prices are reasonable and she is really easy and fun to work with.

Fiber of Her Being is THE source for finding THE unique personalized wedding gift for your spouse to be or wedding party members. I commissioned an art piece from Fiber of Her Being for my spouse to be as I wanted to give something that we would have forever and was uniquely ours. I sat down with Kay and gave her a list of important subjects and aspects of life we shared and share - from past, present, and hints of what the future holds. She pulled together the most amazing collage of images - from fotographs that were imprinted on colorful fabrics to colorful images created from fabrics - on a tapestry that will be one of our highest valued pieces of art in our family forever. I had high expectations going into this and she not only met them but superceded them with a STUNNING piece of art. While the piece is frankly priceless to us, the cost and value for the budget is excellent. Her services are extremely affordable and working with Kay is working with the best - flexible to the max, sets the standards for ALL professionals, exceptionally kind and courteous, and incredibly responsive.

What is the best is that you can work with Kay (President and owner) directly to stimulate your thinking and she comes up with the creative and design ideas that she shares with you prior to commencing work. I found all the types of personalized art pieces, quilts, pillows, frames, etc are perfect types of gifts for the wedding party.

Kay's service is outstanding! From the initial idea to our finished wedding banner/quilt, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Kay. She is fun, creative, professional, and a joy to be around. I commissioned from Kay at Fiber of Her Being a quilted, customized wall hanging that incorporated wedding photos for my boss and his wife's wedding present. They are a mature couple and I knew they wouldn't need the traditional household gift. They got married in the Bajamas, and the background fabric carried that theme, along with appliqued and quilted flowers surrounding three wedding photos. I gave Kay a general idea of what I wanted and she produced a wonderful work of art. The couple adored the gift and raved to all their friends. They told me that it was their most cherished gift from anyone because it was unique and highly personal. They have hung it above their bed. The cost of the gift was reasonable. It was produced on time, and Kay was very friendly and professional.

Kay recently worked with me to provide a ten-year anniversary present for my wife. Taking an unorganized group of photos from an unorganized "groom", she transformed my initial thoughts into what can only be described as a masterpeice. Kay's creativity and dedication allowed me to celebrate a wonderful occassion with my wife with a beautiful piece of art.
