The setting was simply magical the day of my event.We knew they had taken care of anything and that is the best feeling a bride can have on her wedding day. This venue is the best!They were so good to work with and helped the wedding run so smooth.

Eagle's Nest was AMAZING! They were super-helpful, wonderful the day of the wedding, and totally flexible in allowing us to have the wedding of our dreams. Not to mention, the setting is just incredible. If you want an outdoor wedding, I would highly, highly recommend you check them out!

Eagles Nest is the perfect find! Tucked away in a wildlife reserve over looking the Chickahominy River, Eagles Nest offers above and beyond what any of the Plantation sites are able to offer at much less of a cost. Elizabeth is professional, friendly and very flexible in working with your style and vision. She will do everything she can to make your day a dream. Eagles Nest is meticulously maintained and well appointed while retaining its historic charm. I could not have imagined having my wedding at any other location!

The venue is beautiful and the owners went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect! They helped with everything from parking, to decorating, to making sure the vendors were all there when they were supposed to be.

My husband and I loved Eagles Nest. The setting was beautiful. Elizabeth was so helpful. We were planning our wedding from out of town and she gave us tips on everything from local catering companies and equipment rentals to decorating advice. She even helped take care of our dog, Lily, who was our flower girl. We loved every minute of it!

Wedding on the Chickahominy. I am so glad my daughter and her husband choose to be married at Eagles Nest. Even though it was a hot July day, there was a gentle breeze blowing off the Chickahominy River as they said their “I dos”. Not only were the grounds flowering with lilies, but Elizabeth’s hospitality made her a jewel to work with. Hostessing comes natural to this lady. Her knowledge of what had been done at past weddings and her ideas of what could be done, along with her organizational skills, contributed to a beautiful wedding experience. Her accommodating ways and her eye for details helped create the wedding environment we wanted. (Even our wedding coordinator said that Elizabeth’s assistance made her job so easy.) In this beautiful, small-plantation setting, I felt like the wedding was in my backyard.

Elizabeth was great. On a day that is busy and caotic, she was willing to help as much or a little as we would like. She wanted to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. I had a horse and 2 dogs in my wedding and she was so accomodating. The location was beautiful and quiet; perfect for an outdoor wedding. I could not imagine MY DAY being spent anywhere else.

Eagles Nest completed the look and feel of my wedding. Just taking one step on the Eagles Nest property gives you a sense of joy and peace. The wedding turned out gorgeous and the pictures seem surreal.

Mrs. Roark was wonderful to work with. Planning a wedding can be so stressful. She answered all my phonecalls and emails immediately, and in addition to her answering my questions, she would give me suggestions about other vendors in the area. She was flexible and truly worked with me to give me my dream wedding. I can not thank Eagles Nest enough.
