Hollyfield Manor is a mansion wedding venue located in Manquin, Virginia. Owner Sarah Barham has catered hundreds of weddings over the years, taking great joy in serving couples as they celebrate their love for one another. Her daughter, Jessica, also decided to begin a career in catering, allowing them to become business partners. After seeing their business grow over the years, they wanted to chase after the next big thing. Having the opportunity to renovate and open Hollyfield Manor has allowed both Sarah and Jessica to follow their exciting dreams. The staff of Hollyfield Manor offers over a decade of invaluable experience working in the wedding industry.
Facilities and Capacity
Hollyfield Manor offers over 7,500 square feet of event space. This beautiful manor overlooks an expansive view of Hollyfield Pond, a 28-acre lake, and lush farmland in King William County. On this property exists a massive red equestrian barn, well-manicured farmlands, spectacular views of the sunset, and an elegantly appointed reception facility. This picturesque and romantic farm setting is surrounded by towering holly trees, magnolias, and boxwoods. Couples are welcome to choose from a number of event spaces to host their ceremony and reception. Nature’s bounty provides guests with countless backdrop options to exchange vows under the warmth of the sun. The barn offers a rustic and elegant setting for a smaller gathering, featuring hardwood flooring, eye-catching chandeliers, and a grand fireplace. The ballroom provides ample space for a formal sit-down dinner as well as an evening of dancing and celebration. Couples are also invited to begin their wedding day in the comfort of the venue’s Get Ready suites. Here, the wedding parties can relax and unwind before walking down the aisle, both looking and feeling their very best.

First of all, the planning is thoughtful and clear. Jessica & team have a binder of materials to walk you through when planning. They're very upfront about all costs and are interested in making the wedding YOURS, whatever that means to you.
Jessica is extremely experienced. She takes each wedding and uses that experience to improves for the next! For example, she invests in items that brides like (accessories, mirrors, picture frames, etc), she connects with vendors and keeps track of their contact information, and she has ample recommendations about all of your ideas. She'll help you craft an itinerary, communicate with vendors, and ultimately, make the day seamless.

What really made our experience exceptional was the venue coordinator, Jessica. She was truly amazing—so accommodating and supportive throughout the entire process. With much of our family coming from out of town, she went out of her way to schedule planning meetings when everyone could be there. The week of the wedding, she worked closely with us to coordinate when we could bring things to the venue and even let us stick around to finish up some projects on site.
When we faced a major issue with our florist, Jessica didn’t miss a beat. She immediately jumped into action—offering to go to her own house to grab flowers and reaching out to other florists to help fix the situation. Her dedication and calm, problem-solving attitude were incredible, and we are so grateful to her for keeping everything on track.
The catering team at Hollyfield Manor was equally impressive. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented—we’re still getting compliments from our guests! The service was top-notch and made our reception feel effortless and elegant.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hollyfield Manor is the perfect combination of beauty, professionalism, and warm hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone planning a wedding or special event!

From the moment we first toured Hollyfield, we knew it was the one. Even after visiting other venues, we couldn’t stop thinking about it—nothing else compared. It just felt right. The space itself is stunning, and there’s so much built-in charm and functionality that we didn’t have to worry about the small details. Everything we needed was already there, which made the planning process feel so much more manageable.
Jess made the most of everything the venue had to offer and helped us bring our vision to life in a way that felt so personal and effortless. Throughout the planning journey, she was always available to answer questions, offer advice, and follow up with us thoughtfully. Her experience and attention to detail gave us total peace of mind.
We can confidently say our day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without her. Because of Jess, we were able to be fully present and soak in every moment—and we’re forever grateful.

We are still hearing compliments from our guests regarding the beautiful venue & the amazing food.
Food included a carving station w roast beef, marinated asparagus, a potato bar and the butternut squash ravioli is a must!
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Venue! It’s well kept, inviting and comfortable with the perfect indoor reception spot with large windows, beautiful views of the pond & amazing sunset photo opportunities. The staff is very friendly & attentive.
