Wrexham Hall is a historical venue dating to the 1700’s. It has been serving Chesterfield County as well as the Commonwealth as a wedding venue, reception hall and celebratory meeting place since the nineties. Now under new ownership, we hope to play a special part in your celebration or event! There are NO HIDDEN CHARGES. You pay only for the rental of Wrexham Hall.

Donna (the owner) was very accommodating to our overall needs, goals and budget. The location is beautiful, stately, and provided the intimate appeal of having a wedding at home.Sent on 08/18/2012

Wrexham Hall was the venue we used for our wedding on 9-21-12. I will say that since we were paying for our wedding, this was the best bang for our buck. You can look on their website to see that there is a lot included in their pricing, which was helpful to us. The venue itself fit our southern wedding perfectly. It fit the amount of people we needed, and the only decorations we had to worry about were the archway outside, the centerpieces and a few other items. They do keep that place well decorated, so you don't have to do much at all. The pictures came out beautifully, so we know it photographs very nicely.Sent on 10/31/2012
My issue with Wrexham was the food cost. While the food was VERY good, and EVERYONE complimented us on how yummy it was (they don't know how much we paid for it by the way). The mark up for this venue is in the food - without a doubt. We did heavy hors d'oeuvres - with the mashed potato bar. There were also two butlered hors d'oeuvres passed out in between the ceremony and reception - we didn't get to try any though. Other people said they were good as well. It is what it is at this point, but I feel the food is over priced.
And there were some items that came up missing that nobody seemed to know what happened to.
Lastly, we had discussed and agreed that the chair covers for our outside ceremony would be ironed, and they were not. While nobody seemed to notice, other than me - nobody wanted to tell me before the ceremony because they knew I would be upset (and by NO means was a "bridezilla" during any of this - one of the most laid back brides ever).
At the end of the day, our wedding was gorgeous and we really got to make it our own at Wrexham. All of the other venues we looked at, we would have had to bring in our own caterer, tables, chairs, linen, etc. etc. etc. So it is an easy venue to go with.
