The 1st 2 consultants that we worked with weren't that great. Not much personality or experience. If you work w/ someone that has been w/ the company for a while you will have great results.

Our dresses were beautiful and once we got to know a couple of the gals and only worked with them our experience was above and beyond what we expected.

I got my dress off the $99 rack! Absolutely loved it...

I went to davids bridal to look at gowns and i found my dream dress! I baught it summer of 06. i got married spring of 08 so i asked them if i could exchange it for the next size up i had just had a kid! They were rude and said NO!!!! All of my bridesmaids baught there dresses from davids bridal and they never called to say there were in we had to make 3 trips down there. They were rude to one of my bridesmaids on the phone and hung up on here for asking a question! Very Very crappy service! DO NOT GO TO DAVIDS BRIDAL

My dress was ontime, beautiful and very few alterations needed to be made. I was able to pick up my dress a week before the event and allowed to try it on several times even before purchasing it. All of the staff was very helpful and were there to get things done.

I thought David's Bridal was a great bridal shop. My dress was a steal, I still get compliments on how great I looked in my wedding photos. I was lucky that I shopped around on the internet and in other stores for my accessories. I spent a total of one hundred to one fifty on accessories for myself and my bridesmaids, my friend also went to David's Bridal for her wedding and spent over seventeen hundred dollars on her dress and accessories, I was a total of about eight hundred and the only item she bought that I didn't was a fifty dollar veil. David's Bridal depends on the accessories to make their money. Other than the pushy nature of the salesgirls I was pretty happy with them. My sister was my maid of honor and she did not have as great of an experience with the alterations department. She is short and they were supposed to take up the hem of the dress and they only took it up half of what was marked, the straps were supposed to be shortened and they were not, they talked my sister into a larger dress to make it easier for them to hem-and did not take the dress in a far as was marked. Needless to say the dress was huge on her and she couldn't try the dress on before picking it up so this was not found out until the day of the wedding. Just a little tip-give your bridesmaids a little sewing kit with safety pins-it may save your wedding day like it saved mine.

I was able to shop there during one of the $99 sales and get everything I needed all on the same day knowing that my dress did not have to be ordered for what size I measured and was able to take it all home that day as well

I had a few issues with David's Bridal in Rochester. I only ordered my bridesmaid dresses from them, not my gown. A few of my bridesmaids also ordered shoes from them. Things were shipped twice, not at all.. the salesclerks were rude to some of my bridesmaids. One of my bridesmaids lived a good distace away and was unable to come in to be measured and was measured at another bridal shop and they at first refused to go by these measurements as they didn't come from another David's! In addition to that, one of the dresses was so huge, it had to be reordered (incidentally, it was one that they had measured for!). Also, their alteration costs are out of hand!

They were terrific. I had a dress picked out, but looked horrible on me. They actually picked one out that they thought would fit me nicely and be my taste. I hate to say it, but she was the one to pick my dress. It was perfect!!! They helped out with finding matching dresses for the brides maids and the shoes to suit. They were also especially helpful in having the dress tailored to my size. Since I am quite short and have a larger upper body. The dress was perfect!
