I thought trying on wedding dresses was supposed to be fun... At first I only tried on four dresses, then the consultant tried to force me into buying one of the dresses that every other bride has tried on rather than offer to order a new dress (unworn). Secondly, when my SILs were telling me about a dress they saw and told me to come look, the consultant was like a vulture hovering around us. All I could think of was "really? let my SILs look and chat". Then, I really wanted to try on more dresses, that must have really messed up the consultants day, because she would reluctantly go get other dresses. Then told us that I had already tried on the different styles of dress--mermaid, ballgown, a-line, and that I should be able to choose a dress. In the dressing room, the consultant would make rude comments to me, i dreaded going into the dressing room alone with her. I DID eventually find my dress which I love!!! But no thanks to the consultant. I will never go back there. Brides beware!!!!

Wonderful to work with and great selection!

I am a crazy bride but David's was very patient with me. I ended up changing my dress 3 times. What other bridal store can do that for you. I ened up loving my dress!!!! The consultants there were very helpful and encouraging, never made me feel crazy, even though I know I was. They have tons of dresses to choose from and many accessories. The dress are well priced but they get you when it comes to alterations they get you, my alterations cost almost as much as my dress.

My dress from David's Bridal was AMAZING!!!! I am sad that the wedding is now over and I cannot wear my dress again. The service I got was exceptional.

My mom and I went dress shopping the day after I got engaged. We walked into David's Bridal not knowing what we were doing or what to expect. I walked in, saw a large poster of a model wearing this beautiful dress and said I'd like to try that on and picked several others from the magazine.

The dress from the poster was the first one I tried on, and it was a 'wow'! My mom was in tears and I didn't want to take it off. We were at the store during a holiday weekend and it was packed. There were several brides-to-be and moms standing back in the dressing room - and they ALL were gushing about how beautiful I looked in this dress. :) It was such a happy moment.

I tried on several more dresses there and left and went to 3 other wedding dress shops before returning later that night and purchasing THE VERY FIRST DRESS I TRIED ON!!!!!!!! :)

I went for fitting appointments and got my bustle put in my dress and even got several compliments from people in the store about how awesome my bustle was. The lady who did it, even took a picture of it to put in the David's Bridal 'bustle book'. :)

My dress was so beautiful! I loved it!

When I returned to work after my honeymoon, several people (that were not at the wedding) stopped me to say that they 'heard' how beautiful I looked and how I had on the most amazing gown.

I was glowing. :)

I loved my dress from them but hated dealing with them. Two weeks before my wedding they told my maid of honor that they gave her dress away to an ex-wedding party member only to find out that their manager had moved it to alterations. They did nothing but cause unneeded stress and dramam before the wedding.

I was not impressed with David's Bridal, but did not want an expensive wedding dress, so stuck it out. The consultants were rude, and acted like the brides (not just me) were a bother to them. In the end, I did find the perfect dress for me though. I'm just glad I won't ever have to go back :).

I LOVED my gown I purchased in Oct. 2010 for a July 2011 wedding. It didn't need any alterations & getting it pressed was only $45.00 even though it was the biggest gown in the store! AND they pressed it same week as the wedding! However, when my bridesmaids went in with me to pick their gown I did notice a dramatic difference in the way they treat a bride vs. the way they treat bridesmaids! Apparently its all about the money... but I had 7 bridesmaids & 2 attendants so I felt like they could have made just as much money had they been nice to the girls. Some girls were so appalled at being ignored for a nearby bride that they refused to buy from the Lenexa location, where I got my dress. One girls dress was ordered in the wrong size. But overall it was a good experience. My best advice is: if you feel like you're being mistreated, speak to a manager or go to a different location. The dresses looked AMAZING and the price was wonderful. Overall we were very pleased!

I loved my dress from David's Bridal because it wasn't too expensive, yet the quality looked fantastic for one day. It was incredibly easy to work with them because as soon as the dress came in, they did your alterations right away and you didn't have to stress about doing it the couple weeks before the wedding.

I bought my dress at Davids Bridal. The staff seemed very friendly and they have a pretty good selection on gowns.

I got both my dress and my bridesmaid's dress at David's Bridal in Topeka, KS. They were easy to work with. The first salesperson we worked with was pregnant, and she made sure that we found a dress and had everything set up before going on maternity leave. The only thing I didn't care for was that the employees are a little sappy. I understand; you're working in a bridal shop. I could live without the "now that you've found the dress of your dreams" messages on my phone. This is probably just me. I'm straightforward and sarcastic!

I thought the person (stephanie) who help my bridesmaids and myself find our dresses was great. She was a real treat to work with. I thought davids bridal as a company had its ups and downs.

We found out we were expecting 5 months before our big day and DB was extremely helpful in getting an appropriate dress. They exchanged three different dresses for me. They also made it very simple for my out of town bridesmaids to get their dresses.

had a very wonderful experience buy my gown, however things went downhill rather quickly after that. First, David's Bridal sold my information to a bunch of scam artists that called my cell phone over 1000 times in the last 2 months. Very not cool, they call at all hours of the day and night. Second, when I went to pick up my gown it was horribly wrinkled. The store manager assured me and laughingly said "We don't sell wrinkled gowns. You have a complimentary steam/press to make it isle ready! Just bring it in a few weeks before the big day." Okay... so I called them to make an appointment to drop off the gown for the "complimentary" steam/press and they wanted to charge me for it. They said that only applies when you have hundreds and thousands of dollars worth of alterations done. My dress didn't need ANY alterations, so I was just out of luck on the steam/press. David's Bridal DOES sell wrinkly dresses. I suggest giving them fake phone numbers and adding at least 300 to 500 dollars to you budget if you shop there, that's the only why you'll get a stress-free, wrinkle-free dress.

I got my dress at David's Bridal without a problem - my saleslady was nice and helpful, not overly pushy or anything. I had a good experience picking out my dress. The problem came with the Alterations Department doing my bustle. When I got my dress back from the alterations gals and tried it on, I was mortified near the point of tears - they had put 8 bustle points in the dress - at least four of which were so obvious in my train as puckered material. It looked horrible and the bustle isn't even what we had discussed. I ended up having to take it to an independent professional seamstress to fix the problem - and she did a magnificent job!! Crisis averted, but I would definitely NOT recommend David's Bridal for any alterations or bustling! Please save yourself the heartache and take it to a reputable seamstress!

They were so easy to work with, had a lot of options, and always sales. The alterations department was so on top of timing and getting all alterations done in perfect timing.

I used David's Bridal for my dress, my mother's dress, and my bridesmaids dresses. My girls were from all over, and I figured this was the easiest solution. The service was the best when I was looking for my dress, and it just went downhill from there. Alterations did not go well, and I was not impressed by their service. I had to have a few alterations redone to get my dress right. I told my bridesmaids to find someone local for better service and work. I wish I would have gone a different route.
