Miracle worker or just a dedicated seamstress?

This was honestly the best experience I could have ever asked for. I initially went to another place recommended by the bridal shop where I bought my dress, and it was pure chaos—insanely high fees, no clear communication, and no one seemed to be on the same page.

Then I called Sharon, and she absolutely swooped in and saved the day.

Sharon altered two dresses for me and ultimately recreated both of them. I had purchased my wedding dress in September/October 2024, and between then and my second fitting in September 2025, I had been on a fitness journey and dropped almost three full sizes. Somehow, she made my dress fit perfectly. She is a literal miracle worker.

She also recommended a French bustle instead of a traditional bustle, and it added so much beauty, elegance, and class to the dress. Not only did it elevate the overall look, but it was also incredibly easy to bustle—something I was very grateful for on the day of.

By that point, I was also able to fit into my mom’s dress, which Sharon transformed into a shorter (but still formal) party dress—and it turned out absolutely stunning.

And honestly, had Sharon not taken the time to remind me how to properly hold my dress while walking, I would have face-planted more than once. That kind of care, experience, and attention to detail truly sets her apart.

I cannot recommend Sharon and her team enough. She is a rockstar in every sense of the word, and honestly, the only thing that proves it better than this review is the picture evidence.

Beautiful work on my wedding dress

Sharon did an amazing job on my wedding dress alterations. We had multiple sessions in order to get the bust just right (it was a tricky one!) Often when we met, she would tack the dress, alter it right in front of me, have me try it on again, and repeat this cycle multiple times until it was perfect. She truly went above and beyond to make sure my dress fit my body perfectly. I am so thankful for her.

Sharon was lovely and fun to work with

Sharon helped me feel at ease with my alterations. I felt comfortable and assured that she would do a good job and get the dress done in time. She was able to work with the complications of my dress (LOTS of tulle, layers, and intricate lace), and did an amazing job helping the dress conform to my body in the most flattering way. She was fun to work with and you could tell she enjoys what she does. I would recommend Sharon to anyone!

Fantastic!

Sharon was LOVELY! Even though she's obviously in high-demand, she made me feel like I had her full attention, and she did a beautiful job adding several bustle points to my *very heavy* dress! She even added an extra clasp on the back of my dress for me because she noticed the one I had was looking a little weak. Thank you Sharon!!

I used Sharon for my alterations and for my bridesmaids' alterations and she was absolutely wonderful. You cannot beat her prices and she did a wonderful job. I was really picky about my bustle but she took the time to show me a million different options to make sure I really liked what I chose. Also, she let me come in just to try on my dress a few times when I was having second thoughts about certain things. Overall, she was awesome and I would definitely recommend!

I am SO glad I chose Sharon for my alterations. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me along the way.
Probably the thing that stands out to me the most was that she was always willling to come to me. After 2 appointments, I had unintentionally lost some weight and Sharon did additional altering at no extra charge and then drove over an hour to have the final fitting at my home since we were so close to the wedding date!
Her bubbly personality made every appointment fun and comfortable. She was geniunely interested in my wedding and its details, even helping me chose jewelry to match the gown. Her prices were more than reasonable and the quality of work was wonderful.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a quality seamstress that will treat you like you are the only bride in her life :)

I ordered my gown to my size and specifications, and the top was a disaster; baggy in back, and tiny tiny in front! I sew and make dresses and costumes and this was beyond me. I got lucky and picked this gal to fix my dress for me. She was creative and great at explaining what she was going to do with an incredible attention to all the little details. In two weeks, she had it done, perfectly, despite several major alterations! My bridal disaster turned into a real head-turner, fit beautifully, and was exactly what I wanted. Even better, when I bought the slip to go under it, the slip was too long; she gave free advice and tips over the phone for how to take in the skirt without making it too full. HUGE thumbs-up for this talented gal!!!!!

Sharon runs her business out of her house which is full of children and animals. She told me that should "re-create" the veil that I wanted for a fraction of the cost. I spent over an hour at her house while she stumbled around with fabric and pins. I picked up my veil a few days later, paid her $50 and ended up having to tear it apart and only use the pin that was attached to it. I literally paid $50 for something that I could have done for $2 and would have saved me weeks of back of forth conversations. Unfortunately, it was too late to order the one I really wanted. Take this for what it's worth, but I would spend a few more dollars and go to someone who works full time in the business that you are paying them to do.

My dress is unwearable

I took my dress to Sharon to have it altered and it cost me $493.20. She had me put it on and did her thing with pinning and what not. She was supposed to take the dress in 4 inches, fix 5 buttons in the back, sew breast cups in, and shorten the straps a bit.
1-She shortened the straps so short that my arm holes are too tight and the breast cups are so high they’re nearly to my collarbone
2-She didn’t fix any of the buttons but charged me for it anyway and said she did fix 5 buttons (I assume she doesn’t think I kept the ticket she wrote out for me)
3-She completely screwed the sides of the dress where she took it in and left large lumps of fabric at the end of the seam (the dress was seamless but she took it in on the sides instead of the back)
4-She removed the bustle on the back of my dress telling me there was never one there (we were able to confirm that there had been a bustle previously ) and said she would add for an additional $200
5-she ripped a hole in the mesh that holds the two breast pieces together
