My first experience with Alfred Angelo was horrible. I got my dress from them and also got it altered. The seamstress took the dress home and when I came for my fitting there was hair all over the dress and the bustle was disgusting. I complained and they ordered me a new dress (after 2 hours of arguing with the seamstress). In order for me to get my new dress altered they asked me to drive 40 minutes north of the location closest to my house so that the new seamstress wouldn't be inconvienenced. I loved my dress but I would not recommend Alfred Angelo based on customer service to anyone.

I had a bitter sweet experience with the Sunrise location. I found my dream wedding gown there (no complaints there) and had a great experience with Joy, the seamstress (although the alterations are quite costly). I did have an issue with one of my bridesmaids gowns. She ordered a 2-piece gown and only the top came in 4 WEEKS before my wedding. At first, we were told that it was NOT the stores mistake and NO apology was EVER given to my bridesmaid or myself. Finally, 2 weeks later (and 2 weeks before my wedding) we were notified that the skirt had arrived. I was disappointed that there was no communication during those 2 weeks. We tried to contact the store several times but no one had any answers or updates for us. In the end it worked out and everyone looked fabulous, however it was a little stressful in the process.

Stephanie at the Coral Gables location went above and beyond as a saleswoman. She called me frequently to check on me without being pushy. She was sincere, and provided me with several options. Very professional and friendly atmosphere. My dress was $299 and it was perfect!

They were great. I got everything from them. It worked out that if you buy your dress there, you get all accessories (veil, headpiece, bra etc) 10% off and invitations 40% off and 25 dollars off bridesmaids dresses. It was so easy, they had everything right there. You dont have to look any further.

Great job with my Bridesmaids dresses & Flower girls dresses from all around the US. Great customer service as well, the woman that work there are really sweet and will bend over backwards to accommodate a nervous bride!

We got the bridesmaids dresses right on time, a week or two before the expected date. They were all the correct sizes and everything. One of the MOHs changed her size a week after she placed the order and they didn't give her a hard time at all. The only bad thing is that it came in 2-3 weeks after the other dresses but oh well. The other MOH had her dress shipped to her apt in NYC and it came in perfect condition as well. The ladies at the store were very helpful each time we went in and they always had all of our information organized.

I purchased my dress at the opening of the Alfred Angelo store in Jacksonville. I was positive that I wanted a strapless dress but after trying them all on I had not found any that I felt was "the one". I was lucky enough to meet one of the designers who came over and introduced himself. After speaking with him for a moment he asked if I would try on a dress he had in mind for me. Even though it had straps, the moment I put it on I knew this was it. They made a couple of minor alterations and the dress was perfect. He even sketched the dress right there and signed it for me. Alfred Angelo is a wonderful company and they were extremely professional. I highly recommend them.

I did not have an outstanding experience at Alfred Angelo. After trying on dresses, my bridesmaids dresses, my mother's dress, and my rehearsal dinner dress were ordered two sizes two big. As a result, my bridesmaids and my mother were forced to pay for expensive alterations. I asked for a specific size for my rehearsal dinner dress - and surprise - it too was ordered two sizes too big (even after I specifically asked them not to). They tried to blame their charts. However, I had written down what I had ordered and they did alter the dress to the correct size at no additional charge.
As far as my wedding dress, I needed simply alterations. They quoted me $375.00 to do these alterations. I found a store locally (for me) that did all of the alterations, cleaning, and pressing for $175.00. I could not believe the price difference.
Brides - beware. The dresses are beautiful and the price is right; however, pay close attention to what they order for you. I would not recommend this store to a bride..... This was the only stressful part of my wedding planning.

I purchased my gown at the Alfred Angelo store in Boynton Beach.
Originally my contact was Tammy, she was awesome, very helpful and professional.
However once I purchased my dress Tammy quit and moved on to another store.
That was very unfortunate for me..... the new management and staff were very unprofessional and unpleasant to work with.
On top of all that, the seamstress they originally had also left the store, so they had a new seamstress by the time I was ready to have alterations done.
I went in, the new seamstress had some trouble with the bussle but she was able to get it after a while. I few weeks later I get call on my cell phone from the seamstress, she says she has been let go from the store but that she has my gown at her house and she wants me to go to her house to try on the dress, etc. I had already paid upfront for the alterations so I was not comfortable going to her home. I called the store to inquire and they told me they where aware that she had my dress, that they would call her and ask her to bring it in. I went in to try on the dress to see the bussle, and it was a mess! The worst part about it is that the manager and the new seamstress (3rd seamstress I've seen now in the span of 6 months).
are trying to convince me that the dress looks fine, thats just the way its supposed to look!
I persisted that they fix the bussle at no extra charge. They were not happy about it and made sure to show me with thier attitude. After that my mother-in-law contacted Alfred Angelo's PR corporate offices, then they were nice to me and trying to offer extras at no charge for my trouble.
I would not recommend this store to anyone. I loved my dress but wish I would have purchased it elsewhere.
In the end the did fix the bussle, however, the bussle fell down at the reception 2 hours in.
So needless to say the quality of thier work was poor.
