My cakes are priced by the slice and vary slightly depending on the chosen cake and icing flavor.
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
Yes, it does as I recommend that it's eaten during the wedding celebration. Personally, I don't like year old cake so if my clients are looking to save the top layer for their first anniversary, I offer them a complimentary top layer for the celebration.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
My cakes are never frozen. The actual wedding cake is made no more than 2 days prior to the wedding. If there are any sugar flowers to be made, they are made up to a week in advance to allow for proper forming and drying.
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
For now, just one. I'm the sole baker and decorator.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
Most definitely!
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
There is no delivery charge for cakes within a 35 mile radius. After that, there is a $50 delivery charge.
