Kari was amazing and saved my wedding day! I am so beyond thankful for her services and am glad that I chose her as a wedding planner. Not only was she extremely professional in dress, appearance, and coordination, but she was so easy to work with and was the most affordable option out of the handful of wedding planners that I reached out to in North Georgia. Not to mention she had to travel almost 1.5 hours to the venue and even STAYED THE NIGHT between my rehearsal and wedding day!! Since I was planning my Georgia wedding from Texas, I had to choose a lot of my vendors and services based on reviews. Kari and Everlasting Elegance lived up to their reputation. Kari took over my wedding rehearsal when it appeared the church coordinator was extremely overwhelmed and disorganized. I knew as soon as Kari stepped in that all of my worries and things I wanted would be taken care of that moment. I met with Kari twice prior to my wedding day and she was extremely helpful and put my mind at ease. After the rehearsal, Kari stuck around to ensure that the florist cordoned off the pews with lace (because of COVID). This was something she didn't have to do but did it anyways without my knowledge and without anyone even asking her to do it! On the day of the wedding, there were a few things that were missing like the flower crown for the flower girl, my husband's brother who couldn't find his bow tie and vest, and the fact that I left my fur shawl at the church during my outdoor portraits. Kari handled all of these little hiccups with ease and again without my even knowing any of it. I'm sure there were so many more little things that she took care of that I'm not even aware of to this day. Kari was overly prepared and organized with multiple bags of little emergency kits filled with things that a bride or groom might need. For example, I had forgotten to shave my armpits and put on deodorant the morning of my wedding and Kari had everything I needed to take care of that within a moment's notice. She also had makeup remover wipes for the little spots on my dress and literally everything else you can imagine! Kari also ensured that everything I wanted to be set up at the reception was exactly where I wanted it. Kari and her team truly went above and beyond. Absolute joy to work with!
My husband and I worked with Kari to coordinate our wedding in October 2019. We had some idea of what we wanted to do, but were lost in all the details. She helped us figure out how to put the ceremony together, timings for the reception, list of key photos, and so much more. Hi! I'm Kari Gibbons, Owner of Everlasting Elegance. I graduated the University of Georgia in 2015 with a degree in Public Relations. I was always drawn to the event planning side of public relations, and upon graduation primarily worked executing corporate events and marketing. In 2017, I married the love of my life, and unlike many brides I LOVED planning my wedding. In fact, it inspired me to completely change career paths.
