Gilly was my planner for my wedding on July 30th, 2022 in Athens, GA at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. She is fantastic. Not only is she knowledgeable and organized, she is sweet and easy to work with too. Both my mother, MIL, husband and I connected with her.
I was the bride that thought I could handle the planning/decorating/coordinating without a coordinator. After my first meeting with Gilly, I was so thankful to have her. She asked questions that I had not considered and helped layout the foundation for the wedding. As we got closer to the wedding, she took over communication with my vendors. On the day of the wedding, our officiant contacted Gilly to let her know he had tested positive for Covid. Gilly jumped into action (not alarming the bride) and we were able to have a friend step in as officiant.
Our wedding involved a room flip from the ceremony to the reception and we also had a separate area for the cocktail hour. This was a lot of work and it all had to happen in a short period of time. Gilly took the charge in making sure all decor was placed, checking in with my husband and me to make sure we had what we needed, and plenty of other things that I don't even know about. She did everything and I didn't have to wonder how things were coming together-- I was calm and blissfully unaware the entire wedding which allowed me to fully enjoy every aspect of my wedding.
I give Gilly my highest recommendation. She is reliable and detail-oriented. She will make you feel like the most important bride/couple. She'll also be honest with you and make recommendations without over-stepping. If I had to do it all again, I would choose Gilly. She is simply the best!

Gilly is INCREDIBLE!
She helped sooo much with everything for our 4/22/23 florida wedding! Everything was so perfect, we definitely couldn’t have done it without her. she is very professional and she knows exactly what she’s doing. She made our special day go so smooth, we didnt have to worry about a thing.

I highly recommend Gilly Francis Events and Weddings!! Gilly was so helpful the month up to our wedding. Our wedding was very diy and Gilly helped make sure everything came together perfectly on the big day. She and her assistant coordinator are quick to respond and professional, but have wonderful personalities that you want around during your wedding stress. Could not have asked for a better coordinator!
