  Best Wedding Planner!!

  Gilly was my planner for my wedding on July 30th, 2022 in Athens, GA at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. She is fantastic. Not only is she knowledgeable and organized, she is sweet and easy to work with too. Both my mother, MIL, husband and I connected with her.
  
  I was the bride that thought I could handle the planning/decorating/coordinating without a coordinator. After my first meeting with Gilly, I was so thankful to have her. She asked questions that I had not considered and helped layout the foundation for the wedding. As we got closer to the wedding, she took over communication with my vendors. On the day of the wedding, our officiant contacted Gilly to let her know he had tested positive for Covid. Gilly jumped into action (not alarming the bride) and we were able to have a friend step in as officiant.
  
  Our wedding involved a room flip from the ceremony to the reception and we also had a separate area for the cocktail hour. This was a lot of work and it all had to happen in a short period of time. Gilly took the charge in making sure all decor was placed, checking in with my husband and me to make sure we had what we needed, and plenty of other things that I don't even know about. She did everything and I didn't have to wonder how things were coming together-- I was calm and blissfully unaware the entire wedding which allowed me to fully enjoy every aspect of my wedding.
  
  I give Gilly my highest recommendation. She is reliable and detail-oriented. She will make you feel like the most important bride/couple. She'll also be honest with you and make recommendations without over-stepping. If I had to do it all again, I would choose Gilly. She is simply the best!

  Gilly is the best!

  When my daughter got engaged the first service we looked for was a wedding planner. Gilly was recommended to us by the owners of the wedding venue. We hired her immediately. Best decision ever. She saved us so much money and saved us from making so many mistakes in wedding planning. My daughter gave her the vision for the wedding and Gilly made it happen. She handled everything so beautifully and professionally. Her services are literally invaluable. She handled all the planning, the rehearsal and the wedding day with so much class and grace and we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of the experience knowing we were in amazingly capable and experienced hands. Hire her! You will regret it if you don't.

  Gilly is one of those people you never forget. She has so many fantastic qualities and is truly a class act. She is flexible with meetings and will give you the best suggestions. I loved having the pleasure of working with her on my wedding. It was absolutely amazing and she made it the perfect day! I highly encourage any brides to hire her! She will make your experience stress free and help handle all the vendors!

  I highly recommend Gilly Francis Events and Weddings!! Gilly was so helpful the month up to our wedding. Our wedding was very diy and Gilly helped make sure everything came together perfectly on the big day. She and her assistant coordinator are quick to respond and professional, but have wonderful personalities that you want around during your wedding stress. Could not have asked for a better coordinator!

  Stress free wedding night!

  Gilly was so helpful for our big day! We hired her as a month of coordinator. She helped bring all of our plans to life, and was super helpful in making recommendations and asking us questions that I would have never thought about. She made sure everything ran smoothly! We had such a great night and were free to enjoy ourselves and not worry about a single detail. Thanks Gilly!

  Gilly is the best

  I honestly don’t have enough positive adjectives to describe Gilly. She made my wedding possible and it was the best day any bride could ask for! My fiancé and I lived hundreds of miles apart when we were planning our wedding which made things super challenging. My mom and Gilly were the glue that kept everything and everyone together on the same page. There was no way I could’ve planned my wedding without Gilly while working full time across the country. The day of my wedding I didn’t worry about anything because Gilly was so prepared and professional. Everyone who interacted with her told me she was the nicest and most clear wedding planner/coordinator they have ever met. Our vendors loved working with her and we did too! It was just all around such a great experience and I owe so much to Gilly for making my wedding perfect.

  We love Gilly!

  We met Gilly about a year out from our wedding date- through out the year she was always super responsive and kept us on track with what all we needed to do. She always had ideas and connections to different vendors, and always took care of the details. On the day of the wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly! We could not be more thankful for her, and I tell all my friends about her and could not recommend her more!

  Hire gilly

  Gilly was beyond helpful in planning our wedding. My husband and I are both in graduate school with little time on our hands and no family in Athens, and she took care of everything. She also helped coordinate our very unique families and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. She was there for me as a planner and as a friend and I will always be grateful for her.

  Absolute Difference Maker!

  My ~now~ husband and I have been working with Gilly over the last almost year and a half leading up to our 10.22.22 wedding. She was absolutely amazing to work with. I knew going into wedding planning that I wouldn’t be able to handle everything myself and she helped tremendously to make sure every single detail was accounted for. We also had her and her assistant on the day of and, despite not knowing it at the time, we had multiple issues with the venue that she worked to take care of and made sure me and my husband were able to enjoy our day. Would 1000% recommend working with Gilly and her team!

  Couldn't have done it without Gilly!!!

  Gilly was very willing to answer questions and provide guidance in all areas related to my daughter's wedding. She is very knowledgeable and kept us on track with reminders regarding when things needed to be done. Her planning skills are outstanding and this decreased the stress for all.   Absolute most perfect day!!

  My daughters wedding was all that we’d hoped for and Gilly was a huge part of making that happen. She was with us every step of the way with great ideas, suggesting vendors and behind the scenes on the day of. We could not have done it with out her..I would highly recommend Gilly for any event!!

  Gilly was such a fantastic person to work with for our big day! We purchased the middle-tier plan, and Gilly was always there to offer support as we planned out the major details of the day. She often went above and beyond what was required of her based on the contract to help us in making these decisions. On the day of, Gilly was a rockstar. She handled a few issues that came up with grace, doing everything she could to keep problems from reaching us so we could enjoy the day. Both of our families were raving about her, saying we could not have done everything without her! Gilly is such a kind person and worked so well with us and all of our vendors - you need her on your wedding team!

  Fantastic coordinator - highly recommend!

  Gilly helped make sure the entire wedding planning process was easy and ensured our entire wedding weekend went off without a problem. From the beginning she was very communicative and helped us think of all the little details necessary for planning a wedding. She hooked us up with all the right vendors, including our venue, catering, florists, etc. Our wedding day (and really entire wedding weekend) went absolutely perfectly thanks to her. If you need help with your wedding and want to work with a planner, I'd absolutely recommend Gilly.

  Gilly is a Godsend

  Gilly was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process! I hired Gilly to assist with month of (really 2 month of) planning. My venue required a wedding planner and after conversations with at least 4 other planners, Gilly not only was the one that I felt the most comfortable with and that I felt truly cared about the event, but she was also one of the most affordable. As someone who is not great at organization, Gilly was extremely helpful as keeping contracts and contacts in order throughout the entire time working with her. She was also a great reminder of when I should have certain areas in or if I needed to schedule certain discussions with particular vendors. When the day came closer, we had a few issues with our venue and the rehearsal dinner. Although we were all stressed and a little peeved at the venue, she always stayed professional and gave us great advice and a good alternative to having a rehearsal at venue prior to my wedding. The day of, she handled everything like a champ and helped manage the crazy, especially right before the walk down the aisle and all of this really helped calm me down and make my big day especially enjoyable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner.

  Gilly was such a Pro! It was a joy to work with her. She anticipated things that I had forgot to even share with her. I would not give a second thought hiring her!

  Calm under pressure

  Gilly made the night amazing. We got married and was, like many couples, planning a reception because of COVID postponement. She met with us and helped to tailor our event to get our most desired moments for this event. She helped me realize the gaps in my own planning and helped with the timeline. Then, the day of the event, she kept me calm, gave me critical information, but otherwise, shielded me from the stress of our caterer being late. She got everything running smoothly and was open to communication with everything. She followed up our meetings with emails and as someone who likes to keep communication trails, I really appreciated that.

  Gilly was the absolute best!

  Gilly made the wedding planning process so fun and easy. She was not overbearing and allowed your opinion but offered wonderful advice and a new way of looking at things that can at times become the same one wedding after another. She was perfect dealing with quite the outspoken group of family members and made working with all of the vendors and the venue so easy!!! I had 0 stress during the entire time. I would highly recommend Gilly to anyone. She also has traveled the world and has great recommendations for honeymoons or trips in general :) Thankful for Gilly and the peace of mind and friendship she provided during this time!

  BEST wedding planner!

  Gilly was absolutely fantastic to work with! She was very professional, organized, and always responded in a timely manner. She was really able to help make sure our day was perfect and exactly how we wanted it (I was the opposite of a "bridezilla" so she helped me find my voice and capture what I really wanted)! I really do not think our wedding would have been so wonderful if it wasn't for her! Thank you so much Gilly!

  100/10 Would Recommend

  Gilly helped me plan my Athens, GA wedding and there are not enough wonderful things to say about her. She went above and beyond at every turn and made me feel like every detail was taken care of. I had the pleasure of working with her over the course of 2 full years as my wedding was postponed due to Covid and I mean it when I say I will genuinely miss my correspondence with her. Gilly made my wedding go off without a hitch and while I sincerely enjoyed working with each and every vendor, if I could only pick one of them again it would be Gilly.

  My wedding at Historic Spanish Point!!

  Gilly was the best! My wedding had to get postponed due to covid and Gilly was very supportive and was a huge help. Our wedding got pushed back 6 months but it was absolutely perfect! Gilly worked very hard to make our wedding my dream wedding. She kept my boys in line and got things done! She did an excellent job with the decor and tables. It was exactly how I envisioned it. I would highly recommend Gilly!
