About Us

Formerly a Masonic temple, the Stan Mansion’s grand façade and elegant interiors reflect the design by Moritz F. Stranch, which was built in 1921and completely restored in 2010 . It is located in the historical charming Logan Square, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Chicago.

The Stan Mansion has two separate floors that you may use for your wedding, corporate event or special day.
Beginning with an amazing entrance to create that first impression, your guests will be wowed with our beautiful marble floors leading to the grand staircase and sky light which will guide them to the ballroom on the 1st floor which has a capacity of 300 persons. Your ceremony can be held separately just a few steps below the ballroom, conveniently breaking up set up time and giving your guests a sense of comfort and grand luxury.
As we venture upstairs to the second floor, to our right we have our lounge area. With the addition of highboys and cabaret tables, this charming space has two built-in bars with vintage European window accents. You also have the option to use it as relaxation area with sofas, coffee tables, and fabric draping to transform the space. When mood enhancing atmospheric lighting is included, a VIP ambience is achieved that your guests will appreciate after a fabulous night of dinner and dancing.
To the left of the foyer is our large Ballroom which can seat three hundred guests comfortably for a lovely dinner and four hundred twenty guests for a lively cocktail reception. The Ballroom was recently restored and has 32 “high ceilings and four elevated platforms to add texture and movement.
The ballroom’s fabulous stage and dance floor is centrally located and optimal to showcase your entertainment. The acoustics are also phenomenal.
We provide you and your guests with ten 60 inch round tables, twelve 8-foot banquet tables, 3 six -feet long tables ,3 square tables 60x60 , and one cake table at no additional charge.
For your lounge area we will be happy to offer you a couch, 7 high boys and 10 bar stools. As for chairs we will offer you mahogany opera style chairs at a discounted price of $4.50/each (value at $9.50 each)

Book by December 30 and receive Free Chairs for up to 200 guests.

Stan Mansion takes special care in recommending Chicago's finest vendors to assist you in putting together every aspect of your event. We have worked with all of these vendors and can assure you that you won't be disappointed with any of them.

You are permitted to bring your own alcohol, as long as it is served by a licensed insured catering company.

We have parking available only 2 blocks away at Darwin School (for only $175 you can park up to 100 cars) and we can recommend a Valet Service for you and your guests.

At the Stan Mansion we welcome your creativity and we will be happy to offer our design specialists to assist you with creative process of your dream event.
Our Room Rental Fee is:
Saturday $3800
Friday and Sunday $3400
Ceremony room $ 500 or you can use the Ballroom at no additional Charge

For your convenience, Stan Mansion partners with SPSuites (www.spsuites.com) to accommodate your out-of-town visitors in luxurious guest suites that include splendid Windy City views.
