CHIC CHEF IS THE BEST! We cannot say enough good things about them! Ravi + Lily bent over backwards to help accommodate us with our tastings during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were so flexible and so easy to work with. Lily and Ravi were very responsive to every email and every question we had. They even worked with our budget and helped us chose things that worked well with our venue.

Having great food at our wedding was so important to us, and everything we tried was DELICIOUS! The day of our wedding, we got SO MANY compliments on our food and the service Chic Chef provided. We had the chicken florentine and the Brazilian churasco for our entrees, and the asparagus and rice for the sides. They were perfect. For our apps, we had the veggie eggrolls, the tuna wontons, and the bacon apple crostini. AMAZING!

Our passed apps were TO DIE FOR and there was plenty to go around for all of our guests. We chose a buffet style for our reception because it worked well with our budget- let me tell you, if you are worried about buffet style, like I was, DON'T BE! This was a served buffet and everything was warm, flavorful and delicious. Everything looked very professional - and it was perfect.

Ravi from Chic Chef works so hard to make sure your wedding is perfect. And he will not nickel and dime you. We wanted an open bar and he suggested we opt out of their liquor package and suggested we buy our own alcohol to save money. It worked out perfectly. They guided us on how much alcohol to buy and we had plenty for their bartenders to serve throughout the evening. Their bartenders (forgive me, I forgot their names!)were so fun and engaging! They even started dancing and had fun at our reception which our guests loved!

Also, during the reception, we wanted to have bottles of wine on each table to self serve as the bar would be closed during dinner. The bartenders opened all of our bottles of wine and ensured everything was at the tables before reception start. It worked out so well!

Now let me get to the star of the show (other than the food itself) --- ENRIQUE! A HUGE THANK YOU TO ENRIQUE! He was absolutely the best part of our wedding and he made sure our wedding was perfect, and it was all thanks to him! During cocktail hour we took pictures, and he followed my husband and I around with appetizers and drinks to make sure we actually got to eat the food! Throughout the entire reception he made sure we had everything we needed. He even brought us water to alternate with the alcohol we were drinking, which my husband and I appreciated! ;) We loved his light up serving tray too!

Chic Chef is, in our opinion, the ONLY caterer you need for ANY event. We would recommend them and hire them in a heartbeat. Thank you so so much Chic Chef!

I just wanted to write with a huge thank you to your entire team at Chic Chef! We heard from so many people, including the wedding planner, that this was the most organized and delicious event they ever attended. As an event planner getting married I had high expectations for my wedding! I have to say Chic Chef Catering has exceeded my expectations! We decided to do something different and do live stations for our food and I was nervous about doing this! But the stations were such a hit. We did a pasta, fajita, waffle and omelette station and it was awesome! Everyone is still raving about the food! The food was hot and so fresh! They even made sure they had a special plate for a food allergy guest. The servers and staff were great and efficient about cleaning up! I never saw dirty dishes or glasses anywhere. Ravi is so talented and I am truly thankful I chose them for my wedding! It was the perfect day! I will be recommending them to everyone!

Incredible food, unbelievable service! We are so happy we went with chic chef catering! These guys are the best - they offered a wonderful tasting experience, great pricing, and delicious options. I was so happy to sit down at the table on my wedding day take a bite of food, and just melt. Our guests couldnt stop eating lol! We selected signature drinks with them and they also provided the chairs for our ceremony (super convenient to use them for additional rental setups!) Chic Chef went above and beyond in every aspect of catering our wedding, most notably in the incredible service! The dinner food and appetizers were amazing, chef Ravi and his team run a seamless operation. We had multiple guests tell us this was the best wedding food theyve ever had!

We could not have been happier with Chic Chef. This team is made up of some of the friendliest, easy-going people. The positive experience starts the minute you have a tasting with them. They are very communicative and quick. On top of being easy to work with, the service AND the food on our wedding day was top tier. Our guests just raved about the food and we were extremely impressed with the consistency! We had the chicken, short rib, children's meals and a few guests that had a vegan dish. Throughout the entire process (two tastings, venue walkthrough, and reception itself) the Chic Chef team was highly communicative, flexible to all our requests, and extraordinarily kind and professional.

Throughout the tasting process the provided us not only with the menu options we selected but additional dishes they thought paired well with some of our initial selections and additional recommendations (that we ended up using). They encouraged us to sample each option and provide any preparation adjustments we thought necessary (more or less sauce, less seasoning, swapped toppings, etc.) and took studious notes to ensure these tweaks were included for our event. Their staff was very courteous and cordial even adjusting without complaint when we had an unavoidable late arrival to the second tasting.

The Chic Chef team made sure to attend our venue walkthrough and beyond noting the required linens/silverware/glassware they provided very helpful insights into how to layout the venue during food service. This was greatly appreciated by my wife and I since we utilized the venue's space in a non-traditional layout.

All of the upfront discussion and adjustments paid dividends as the reception itself went off spectacularly. The Chic Chef team were prompt in their arrival, efficient in their setup, and absolutely professional in the preparation and delivery of the food. They provided passed appetizers (at cocktail hour), plated salads, and plated meals for our event without any delay or shortage. Despite having speeches occurring throughout the event the Chic Chef team was able to discretely provide all food service without interruption. They additionally helped us plate and cut desserts that we sourced from a separate vendor. As a bonus their head staff member checked in with my wife and I throughout the event to ensure everything was proceeding as intended and to provide us our own meals and appetizers.

The food itself was out of this world. Everything was prepared exactly as we had specified and with more than ample portions while being completely mindful of the allergy and diet preference list we provided from our guests. We have had no less than a dozen individual guests reach out to us following the reception to rave about the food and tell us it was the best they've ever had at a wedding.

I assume their cleanup and tear down was as professional and efficient as the rest of their service because we did not even notice them depart. Our venue representative similarly raved about their communication and professionalism.

To top all of this off their quote for our event was literally HALF the cost of the standard recommended caterers from our venue (and other venues we had explored).

We will be recommending Chic Chef to any and all of our friends who plan an event in the Chicago area.

The absolute best decision we made throughout our whole wedding process was booking Chic Chef for our catering!! As soon as we met with Lucy, we cancelled all other catering tastings we had booked. The food we had at our tasting was 10/10 incredible, and we knew we wanted to to lock them down.

From that very first tasting to the weeks leading up to the wedding, the whole Chic Chef team was beyond helpful. Lucy worked with us to finalize our menu and guest count, and she made the process stress-free.

On the day of our wedding, the Chic Chef team truly made our event incredible. They brought appetizers to me in the bridal suite as soon as the ceremony ended so I could eat something before pictures, and they even fixed every single place setting when I realized there was a small detail that needed to be corrected right before dinner service.

We chose to do a buffet-style service for our wedding, and the food they served was fresh, delicious, and looked amazing. The way they presented it was similar to how you would expect a plated dinner to be served. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have heard from almost all of our guests that our food was the best wedding food they have ever had!
