We booked Stan Mansion in March of 2023 for April of 2024. My husband and I had been engaged for 7 years, with no rush to set a date. We’ve lived in the Logan Square neighborhood for over 10 years and have known about Stan Mansion for quite some time. When it came time to start the wedding planning process, we knew that Stan Mansion would be one of our first stops on our list of venues. Turns out, it was the only stop we needed!
Cera Stan personally gave us a tour of her beautiful home while citing all of its historical details as well as amenities. It was obvious that she was extremely passionate about hosting events and seeing the beauty that others can create in her space. When meeting other vendors throughout the planning process, all of them had nothing but the kindest things to say about Cera and her love for holding magnificent events.
Overall, here are the reasons why we chose Stan Mansion to host our wedding:
Bridal Suite - The bridal suite is extremely spacious with a full kitchen. I loved that my bridesmaids and I had a place to get ready on the big day, as well as a wonderful backdrop for photos. As someone who has a bit of anxiety and limited social battery, I really appreciated the security of knowing that there was somewhere I could go to be by myself if I needed a moment alone.
Expansive multi-purpose spaces - We chose to hold our ceremony in the main ballroom, cocktail hour in the lower ballroom, and flipped the main ballroom in that time for our reception. While the space has character on its own, it truly can be anything you want it to be. Worth noting that the bar is in a separate space from the main ballroom so you do have to go a very short distance across the hall for a drink. We were a little worried about this being inconvenient but trust me when I say that it did not stop any of our guests. The hallway in between the ballroom and bar is the perfect space for a guestbook too since guests pass it so frequently.
Vendor Recommendations - Cera sat down with us and went through all her recommended vendors one by one. She was very genuine in discussing what some vendors are/are not good at. We ended up choosing our caterer, lighting/drapery, florist, beauty team, and bridal shop from her recommendations and we truly could not be happier. The benefit of working with Cera’s recommended vendors is that they know the space front and back. Many already had custom proposals for Stan Mansion and saved me from having to walk them through the entire space myself.
Our wedding was a BLAST and nothing - literally nothing - went wrong. Even when I almost lit my dress on fire, one of the day-of coordinators jumped into action before I even knew my dress was caught over an open flame. I owe so much of our success to Cera and her team for their level of care, knowledge, and guidance. Thank you so much for being a major part of the best day of our lives!Stan Mansion's reply:

We had our wedding at Stan Mansion this December and Aleya, Cera, and everybody else on their team made it the most wonderful wedding we could have possibly imagined. From day one of planning, we felt like they treated us as family. Cera was so welcoming and made us feel so special and appreciated. Aleya, our day-of-coordinator, was the MVP of the night. She worked tirelessly with us to get every detail perfect and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. We couldn’t have done it without her help, and we wouldn’t have wanted to do it anywhere but at Stan Mansion. They made our wedding perfect! -

I will forever recommend Stan Mansion for weddings. It was the very first venue my husband and I toured, and we instantly knew we had found the one. We walked out of that first meeting with tears in our eyes — the kind that come when something feels unmistakably right. This space is breathtaking in a way photos can’t quite capture; you truly have to step inside to understand its magic.
But as beautiful as the mansion is, the team behind it is what makes the experience unforgettable. This is where we truly struck gold. Every single person we worked with was dedicated to our happiness and to making our day feel effortless. We had the privilege of working with Aleya as our Day-Of Coordinator, and we would have been absolutely lost without her. She brought such calm, clarity, and confidence to every meeting and message. In the final few weeks, when nerves and to-do lists were piling up, she kept us focused, grounded, and reassured that everything would be flawless — and of course, she was right.
I also highly recommend trusting their preferred vendor list. We used it to select our catering and décor teams, and each vendor took such thoughtful care of us. Because they all work together regularly, the coordination was seamless and took a huge amount of pressure off our plates.
Our wedding was stunning — exactly what we dreamed, and somehow even more. Every person involved went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. Stan Mansion will always hold a piece of our hearts, and I couldn’t imagine beginning our marriage anywhere else.Stan Mansion's reply:

Our wedding day was nothing short of perfection. It all began with the search for the right venue, and within just ten minutes of touring Stan Mansion, with its stunning ballrooms and timeless features, Kim looked at Joe and said, “This is it.” The decision was made, and from that moment on, everything fell into place.
A special mention to Cera Stan, owner and founder of Stan Mansion whose dedication and expertise were invaluable throughout the process. We then began working closely with our extraordinary coordinator, Reagan Wright, who turned our vision into reality. She was there every step of the way, ensuring nothing was overlooked and always bringing a positive, can-do attitude to every meeting.
From the very first meeting, Reagan’s professionalism and warmth stood out. She was knowledgeable, supportive, and truly listened to what we wanted. Our must-haves were met, and Reagan meticulously handled every tiny detail—some of which we may not have even thought of ourselves. With her attention to detail, we were able to craft the wedding of our dreams. The venue, located in the heart of Logan Square, provided the perfect backdrop, and Reagan’s guidance made the entire planning process seamless. Every monthly meeting felt like a comforting step forward, with Reagan always providing clear answers, offering expert advice, and giving us the confidence that everything was on track.

We discovered Stan Mansion through an internet search, and from our initial meeting with Cera Stan and her team, we knew it was the ideal venue for our wedding.
During our first encounter, they graciously addressed all our initial questions, even providing a list of recommended vendors that proved invaluable in kickstarting our planning process. Thanks to their suggestions, we secured an exceptional caterer, DJ, and decorator, all of whom played a pivotal role in making our day everything we had envisioned.
We also chose to work with one of Stan Mansion's onsite wedding coordinators, Aleya Huebner, a true collaborator and professional in every sense of the word. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, Aleya met with us multiple times. Each meeting was marked by her thorough preparation, addressing all our questions and concerns, and leaving us with a clear list of action items to work on. Every time we left for the day, we felt more and more confident our wedding was going to be a success. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without Aleya!
Easily the best perk of choosing Stan Mansion is that you receive full access to the entire building! This includes the downstairs ballroom which we used for our rehearsal and cocktail hour, the spacious multi-room bridal suite upstairs for the entire wedding party to get ready and relax, and the stunning grand ballroom and bar for our ceremony and reception. Having the entire space to ourselves created a safe and comfortable environment for our wedding party and guests to truly enjoy and celebrate.
We will forever be grateful to Stan Mansion for helping us making our dreams come true. Many of our guests commented on the amazing experience of attending a wedding at Stan Mansion! Stan Mansion is this lovely venue tucked in Logan Square. Cera, the owner and wedding maven will create the wedding of your dreams. We had a beautifully intimate ceremony in the downstairs ballroom. My guests couldn't stop raving about how gorgeous it all was! Oh, and the bridal suite...or shall I say bridal apartment? Two bedrooms and baths, beautiful kitchen area for mimosa making and lots of natural light to get glammed up! We could not have asked for a better venue. If you’re wondering where you should have your wedding look no further! Cera, Kathy, and the entirety of the staff were all so so wonderful- our vendors even made note to tell us the Stan had the nicest staff around! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and super spacious for ~150 guest, we had a band on stage and literally danced all night! Everyone was so in love with the venue, especially the giant bridal suite. It made getting ready so easy, we arrived at 9am and left at midnight and loved every second! Logan Square is also such an important neighborhood to us and getting to share that with our guest made everything even better. Right as soon as we hired our wedding planner and started talking about our vision for our wedding, Stan Mansion was the very first place that we were recommended to host our wedding. The second we entered the lobby, we knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding reception. We wanted a venue that was unique and would leave our guests speechless, and we got everything we wanted at Stan Mansion. We really enjoyed that we could bring in all of our own vendors! We ended up choosing vendors that they recommended, which we loved, since all of our vendors knew the venue so well, everything ran smoothly. We also loved the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves and weren't sharing it with another reception. Cera was great to work with and we loved that she came over to celebrate with us! We searched far and wide in the city of Chicago for a wedding venue that was unique and affordable for our event. The moment we walked into Stan Mansion, we knew we wanted to book it. We felt we had seen numerous venues around the city that were essentially copies of themselves over and over again. They were nice, but there was nothing memorable or special about them. They all seemed very similar and forgettable. Stan Mansion was anything but. The location, curb appeal, and Gatsby-esque aesthetic are all extremely unique and exactly what we were looking for.
After the booking, the team at Stan Mansion was extremely approachable, professional, and responsive - even when the pandemic delayed our event by over a year. The team at Stan helped us reschedule the event, helped coordinate with our vendors, and made sure we did not feel forgotten about. Oh - and they recommended us Ovy Catering, who did an incredible job.
Between the unique aesthetics of the venue, professionalism, and wedding industry connections, we cannot recommend Stan Mansion more for your event. Multiple guests told us they will never forget our wedding and the venue played a huge part in that. Thank you Stan Mansion.Stan Mansion's reply:

When my wife and I were looking at different venues, we did so by different tiers based on the pricing. We stopped by other venues before going to Stan Mansion, and while adequate for our needs, were missing that special something. None of them quite jumped out as us as the one we envisioned, and we almost gave up on the idea that any venue would live up to the vision we had; that is, until we went to Stan Mansion.
Located in Logan Square, this venue is tucked away and is unassuming at first. You can walk past it and will never imagine it is a venue. However, right as you enter the main doors of the mansion, you are welcomed into a gorgeous, sophisticated, and beautiful space. We got a chance to tour the entire mansion, and each room, from the main ballroom to the bridal sweet to the bar area, was like something straight out of our imagination. We knew we absolutely needed to go with this location as our wedding venue just for the sheer elegance and vibrance of the place, but on top of that, we were provided great wisdom by the lovely Cera Stan along with the in-house wedding coordinator, Kathy, we included. Both of them did a absolutely fantastic job guiding us throughout the process, and also offered excellent recommendations for other vendors, a few of which we ended up going with and were not disappointed by either!
The day of the event, because of the ample space of the ballroom and downstairs floor where we had cocktail hour, all of our guests were able to spread out if they wanted to, or get together with other friends and family they hadn't seen in a while. The table layout worked perfectly for our guest count, as it did not have the feeling of being crowded, and this is including areas for a photo booth, churro bar, and designated dance floor! Needless to say, the place can host even larger events with more people if needed.
Overall, we fell in love with the venue and people at Stan Mansion right from the beginning, and we would not hesitate in the least to recommend this place to anyone that has the budget for it (even if you need to squeeze out some extra cash to do it, it's worth it).Stan Mansion's reply:

Our experience performing at Stan Mansion was phenomenal.
We can't wait to perform there again! Not just for the beautiful space and acoustic, but for another chance to connect with Cera Stan. The location is superb, parking is easy, and it is close to some of the most reliable public transportation in the city. The grand ballroom is large and unique and the whole mansion has more than one large gathering space. There are restrooms on every floor and there's a gorgeous view of trees from bar. Delightful historical details abound and dimmable chandeliers and sconces and other special light features enhance the magic of the space. The acoustic is phenomenal for live music. This space works well for any size crowd. Cera Stan is generous, engaged, delightful, communicative, and creative. Our wedding, rescheduled 3 times due to the pandemic, was everything we hoped thanks to Cera, Kathy and the whole team at Stan Mansion. It is such a beautiful venue with multiple rooms to hold your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They were so flexible to work with and really help you make your wedding day special and unique to you. We highly recommend adding the day-of planner if you choose Stan Mansion as your venue. Kathy provided way more than just “day-of” support! She coordinated with all of our vendors for months leading up to our wedding day and we didn’t have to think about a single detail on the day. The bridal suite is also worth every penny to add on to your day. We had hair and makeup for 11 done in the bridal suite, which provided a great place for photos and a relaxed day getting ready. It was also a great place during our reception for kids to escape with the babysitter when they needed a break from the party. This place is fantastic!Stan Mansion's reply:

I cannot recommend using Stan Mansion as your venue. The owners are EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for an elegant, vintage ballroom look, THIS IS THE PLACE! We are still looking at venues and Stan Mansion was the first that we looked at. We met with Cera and she really set the bar high for other venues. The mansion itself is gorgeous and just a unique venue. I was especially impressed by the bridal suite! Cera also was honest and helpful. She didn't push at all, gave us on honest advice, and comes off very flexible. You can tell she really cares about the venue and puts a lot of work into it herself. She's continuously adding new things to make it better (upgrading chairs, pastry table, prosecco wall, new curtains, etc). We are planning for a March/April wedding and there are great off-season discounts. The mansion really is a blank slate where you can design everything exactly how you want.Stan Mansion's reply:

Stan Mansion, is by far more than just a venue. Everything from it's natural elegant beauty, to it's architectural exclusivity. But beyond that, the owner, it's staff and Everyone involved in making this place perfect is the reason why it's stand in its own category. We chose this venue for our wedding for all the reasons I just mentioned and because of the coronavirus we had to postpone. Despite that we couldn't envision our wedding happening anywhere else but here. The magic and positivity that radiates from Stan Mansion is something that can't be replicated anywhere else. Stan Mansion is by far one of my favorite venues for weddings. The great architecture makes this mansion unique from most banquet halls and it's got amazing character. The staff who work there are just as great and always make sure that their clients come first by providing excellent service all throughout the wedding/event. As a photographer l love shooting there because of the amount of great indoor spots that come out beautifully in photos. I would gladly recommend this venue to any of my clients and friends. It's always a pleasure being there. -

I highly recommend Stan Mansion for your wedding venue. It is a gorgeous venue with a variety of unique features that guests are still raving about! Our wedding day was simply perfect! This is largely due to our amazing experience working with Irene, Stan Mansion's wedding coordinator, which made our wedding planning run smoothly and the day of events, a breeze. Irene is extremely professional, dependable, and through. She provided us with fantastic tips to make our wedding a one-of-a-kind day, and it was easy to get in touch with her to ask questions during the planning stages. Best venue in Chicago
We could not have asked for a better wedding venue. Our wedding was on 7/5/19. Irene, our contact and Day of Coordinator was there every step of the way. She exceeded every expectation, from how quickly she responded to emails/texts, setup everything to the way we envisioned it to all of the help she provided. Irene took away all the stresses of coordinating with vendors and setting everything up. Make sure to book her for your event! Cera, the ownership, was so friendly and has maintained the property to perfection. Their list of recommended vendors is top notch and we used a lot of them for our special day. No one on that list disappointed. We are planning another event here for our daughter's quinceanera next year and can't wait to come back here again. No need to look any further than Stan Mansion! -

Amazing Venue + Caring Owner = Your Dream Wedding!
Stan Mansion is a hidden gem in the historical Logan Square area ....the outside exterior has a wonderful stone facade that they uplight at night....and inside surprises you because they have two levels that you can have events that transitions from the lower level room for the ceremony to the 2nd floor bar that has a built in fire place mantel, great for photo opts and large wooden bar by the window facing the outdoor courtyard to the main Ballroom for the reception with a grand stage for a band or DJ or even the sweet heart table....the attention to details in the design is beautiful and the European chandeliers add that elegant finish. I love creating within this venue and Cera Stan the owner is so easy to work with and really cares for each and every client as she gives of herself to everyone. The bridal couples end up falling in love with her. -

Larissa Sent on 10/31/2017My husband and I began working with Cera Stan a year and a half prior to our wedding date and the experience has been one to cherish. I recall the conversation we had during our first planning meeting... Cera wanted to know the story behind how my husband proposed to me and this led to us showing her the proposal video. What began as a planning meeting quickly turned into a sister-to-sister bonding moment between the two ladies. Both of us were crying as my husband sat trying to determine if he should get us some tissue or simply let us enjoy the moment. I must say, Cera was highly impressed with my husband's performance on the video and encouraged him to perform at our wedding.
What impressed us the most outside of the physical aspects of the venue, was how down-to-earth and genuine Cera was and her leadership influence can be seen via the hard work and commitment her staff displays. Thank you Monica and Irene, you two were fabulous! Respectfully, there are a number of fabulous venues throughout Chicago, but none like The Stan Mansion... You won't find a venue that can provide the service and support that Cera and her team provides. WE LOVE CERA!!!! She not only worked within our budget but also showed us ways to get more for less. I highly recommend this venue because what you'll get and experience is more than worth the price. August 27, 2017 will forever be remembered and cherished!!! -

Tracy Sent on 10/25/2017Cera Stan was so lovely to work with, she truly understood the unique personality of our daughter and was full of suggestions to help us make her wedding unlike any other. Monica was our personal manager for the event and she was wonderful! She helped us with all the details beforehand, was accommodating to our schedule to set up and decorate, and stepped in to help with so much on the day before and day of the wedding. Everything went off without a hitch and we were able to have a wedding celebration that will be talked about for years to come. The venue is stunning, unlike anything you will find in Chicago. The care that has been taken of this building and its restoration is evident in every room. The only flaw is that it is not handicap accessible due to it's historical significance, but we were able to work around that with a "carry" chair for our guest who needed assistance. If you are looking for a truly unique space, the Stan Mansion is it!

We live in Zürich, Switzerland, so unlike most couples, we had to conduct most of our communications from abroad.
Kevin (our ceremony coordinator) and Cera (the owner) were very pleasant to work with from the start. They were flexible to speak with and listened to all our unique ideas to make it a special day for us. They made us feel like we weren’t just another couple looking to have just another ceremony….but that our day truly mattered to them and to Stan Mansion.
When we entered the Mansion on the day of the ceremony we were blown away that Kevin listened and created exactly what we had envisioned. He did everything perfect, according to our drawings and exceeded our expectations.
My partner and I come from the events and hotel industry so exceeding our expectations was not going to be easy. Hats off to a great job Stan Mansion!
If you looking for a unique, elegant venue to have a classic Chicago experience…pick Stan Mansion and you won’t be disappointed. Your guests will be happy that it is not another hotel or banquet hall, but truly a unique elegant venue.
