Fulton Market Kitchen is a restaurant and wedding venue that is located in Chicago, Illinois. The elegant and cultivated locale seeks to offer not only delectable dishes but also provide an ambience that is aesthetically pleasing. This is accomplished through the combination of an art gallery and bar on the premises, infusing the locale with a cultured edge. This gives you a dynamic space for hosting a memorable wedding event.
Facilities and Capacity
Art takes a central role at Fulton Market Kitchen. Works by artists can be found hanging on numerous walls, along with murals in vivid colors. Much of the furniture is velvety and plush, adding to the charm of the spaces. There are artist residencies at the restaurant as well, making this a place of artistic conversation and further energizing the eatery. The decor is urban and industrial, with exposed brick and wood accents. This furthers the overall creative atmosphere. The entire restaurant can accommodate up to 200 individuals. Smaller gatherings of 12 can be held in the private dining room and up to 60 can eat together seated in the main dining area. There are additional dining rooms throughout, ranging from private to semi-private, each with their own architectural charm.
There are different rental packages at Fulton Market Kitchen for you to avail of. You can book just a private dining space, ideal for engagement parties and rehearsal dinners. There is also the option of booking their entire restaurant for your wedding. Their event coordinator can help you arrange these details while also helping you determine the menu and more. Their goal is for you to enjoy the eatery to its full potential while creating an event to remember.
The restaurant was founded by Alex Morales and Daniel Alfonso. Their goal was to bring together the visual and culinary arts to create an energetic place for unique happenings. Inspiration for the restaurant came from the New York City art scene of the 1980s as well as the Wynwood Walls in Miami. The chef that runs the kitchen, Chris Curren, sources foods from nearby markets and farms, offering meals both sophisticated and fresh. This is then complemented by the artistic works. Altogether, these elements facilitate a space where the intention is to bring people together and let them create memories filled with joy.

A perfect space to celebrate with friends and family
If you're looking for a unique space to celebrate an event, with incredible food to boot, you can't go wrong with Fulton Market Kitchen. They have so many different rooms as well as some great artwork that really makes the space come alive. I've had dinner in a few of the rooms, as well as a wedding that took over the entire space. Every time, the chefs and the attentive staff knocked it out of the park.Sent on 11/25/2019

Exactly what we were looking for!
Fulton Market Kitchen (FMK) helped to make our big day a great event - not just for us, but for our families as well. During and after the event, we heard multiple compliments from our family about the impressive food, the unique drinks, the impeccable service, and the attention to detail. We especially appreciated the event coordinator, Lale, for thinking about the things we had forgotten, like how to hand off a bride (none of us actually knew how that would go, but we got through it!).
FMK was a great space and provided exactly what we were looking for in a venue. It was intimate while still having enough room to roam, the ambiance was lively without being too overbearing. The candelabras, music level, and seating fit our group perfectly. Not to mention, we always look forward to going back throughout the week for dinner. We couldn't recommend them more!Sent on 10/08/2019

We had our wedding booked with Fulton Market Kitchen in the fall of 2017 with a 2018 date. The venue did go through a transition period of staff turnover which in the beginning felt very stressful. Communication between the new planner Lale was impeccable and her knowledge of the wedding industry and running a successful wedding was so comforting and genuine. Our day went off without a hitch and we could not be happier. If you are the out of the box couple looking for a cool hip place then this is it. They truly are full service.Sent on 01/21/2019
