Harper of SEAMS is a classically trained Draper as well as Designer with over 25 years experience in Custom Couture for Film, TV, Broadway, and A-List Private Clients and her years of expertise are at your service.

SEAMS Services include Custom Design & Construction, Major Alterations on gowns both Modern and Antique, Corsetmaking, Beading, Feather-work, Swarovski Pave, Custom Headpieces Veils and Accessories.

Our Shop has a limited line of Couture Bridal Gowns and Dresses, Bridal Accessories ready for sale, all of which can be custom ordered in any color or fabric of your choice!

But the best endorsement I can give to Harper is I've asked her to make my wedding dress, and there's no better endorsement than that.

SEAMS is a European Style Couture House.  We will take you from sketches to muslin to final finishing of the gown of your dreams.  Not finding what you have in mind in a store?  Then it’s a perfect time to consider having it custom made.  Professionally fit, and all the details you want instead of compromising on what’s available.  We also make Mom’s Gowns, Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, Men’s Ties and Vests, and Doggie Attendant gear! 
SEAMS also sells dressing emergency products like Hollywood Fashion Tape, Bubbles Shapers (better than Spanx!), and all the other little Movie Wardrobe Department secrets that Harper has collected from her decades of working with A List Celebrities in Film, Television, and Broadway!  :)

We can also completely remake your family heirloom gowns and headpieces, including Antiques. 
Keep in mind that Alterations can sometimes take as much work and time as making something from scratch, so don’t leave it until the last minute!   Harper’s many years of working with A-List of Show Business Celebrities insures you her expertise and discretion.

Some Vendors who sew for weddings will try and discourage you from buying second hand or on the internet.  SEAMS loves a challenge of remaking and reconstructing your eBay find, Grandmother’s Heirloom Gown, copying your favorite from a Movie or photo, or your find from the Filene’s Running of the Brides, etc.  Eco-Friendly Brides are some of our favorites!

All Wedding Magazines have a Timeline Guide for a reason:  Please remember to ORDER YOUR GOWN as soon as you officially book your Venue!  Most Wedding Gowns take at least 3 to 5 Fittings and can take several months to make from scratch.  Remember that for us during the busy season, just keeping track of all the Brides on our Calendar is an enormous job!  From March to November we add Rush Fees to gowns ordered 10 weeks or less before the Wedding date.     The Bride comes First!    Then take care of everyone else in your Wedding Party.
