I have a simple philosophy: Make photographs that are interesting, meaningful and real.

My favorite images share authentic elements of interest, unscripted emotion, humor, and love. They are blissfully real moments in my life. I would be so honored to capture the real moments in yours.

I enjoy movies with happy endings, freshly-brewed black coffee, and live jazz. I love to travel, but have yet to backpack through Europe. I love city lights and I love mountains. I married a mathematician - one of the most creative people I know.

After living most of my life in Michigan, then Washington, then New Jersey, I am currently accepting wedding commissions throughout the United States. During the summer of 2010, I am splitting my time between NYC and Chicago, and will officially be based in Chicago as of October 1, 2010!
