Capturing beauty, meaningful moments, and inspiring ease and trust in the subject? That’s not an easy combination. But Anna does all of it—and more—with grace. I don’t naturally love being in front of the camera. During our shoot, I was feeling self-conscious—navigating some perimenopausal weight gain and not feeling like my most radiant self. But Anna saw beyond that. She saw me. And helped me see me, too.

When the photos came back, I was floored. They weren’t just beautiful in a visual sense—they carried something deeper. Truth. Warmth. Me. Friends and clients told me these were their favorite photos I’ve ever taken. That says a lot.

It was her idea to do a diptych instead of a single portrait – and chose a location where we could experiment with the natural setting in a way that produced such a unique and special result.
