Michelle and Pete were such fun to work with! For our engagement shoot they picked a lovely location and guided us through the whole process (we definitely needed help in the posing department!).

For our wedding Michelle was so great at keeping us on track timewise without feeling like we were being rushed or hurried! They both captured us and our once in a lifetime moments with some amazing photos! We especially loved the different shots that came from having both straight photos and ones with special lighting...we had many comments on how we looked like we were in a fariy tale!

I highly recommend booking Pete as your photographer. He just shot our wedding last weekend (June 21, 2025) and not only did he do a phenomenal job, but he was a delight to work with. He managed to be in all of the right places at the right time, was totally unobtrusive and a kick to have around. He's got an incredible eye for composition and his photos came out beautifully. We are tremendously happy with the outcome. High recommend!

Michelle and Pete were a great team. I appreciated having 2 photographers to help catch the best angles, light, and candid moments. Additionally, I appreciated them creating a custom package for our small COVID-era wedding and their flexibility to get he types of photos we wanted. And of course, we got gorgeous photos out of it!

Pete did an awesome job with our wedding photography! We got married in Bend although we live in Portland so we needed somebody who knew the area, was flexible, and would take awesome photos. Pete did it all (in 90+ degree weather) and had a smile on his face the whole time. Thanks Pete!

Majestic! That is the only way I know how to describe the way Pete captured the moments in our wedding. My husband and I could not even begin to pick a favorite photo! There was not a missed moment or a bad angle in any photo. He is not afraid to go outside the box to get that special one of a kind picture. Pete is the only photographer that my husband I will ever use again from our engagement photos to someday family photos. Working with Pete was a pleasure for us. I would recommend Pete for any occasion/event.

Simply put, Pete is the BEST. There were a lot of people that I was thankful to have surrounding us on our special day. But two years later, one of the people that stands out in my mind as an exceptional part of our wedding, was Pete. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Pete was the perfect photographer for our wedding. With his background in photojournalism, he captured the event in a natural way. He also has a great eye for setting the scene (check out his amazing landscapes sometime), so the portraits are also beautiful. He was easy to work with, up for suggestions and gave his all to provide quality shots of our wedding. I love getting out the wedding book and reliving our special day.

From start to finish Pete was a true professional! I was a nervous bride but Pete's sense of humour coupled with his professionalism made the whole experience one which was relaxed and most importantly great fun! Pete Erickson did an amazing job on our wedding at an even more amazing price! He was very diligent and artful in capturing the beautiful photos that exemplified our event. It resulted in one photo in particular that captured the tone, beauty and color of the perfect autumn day of our wedding with fairy tale lighting and brilliant fall colors. Weddings are stressful events that require an outpouring of money but this was an area that I felt we got a great value for our money. I felt more than comfortable that we were getting great, quality photos without the high fees that other area photographers charge.

We hired Pete after our initial photographer bailed (luckily we were still six months out) and were immediately pleased at his timeliness in responding, his enthusiasm for all things wedding photography related and his work, and how excited he was to shoot our wedding. We went with a lower package because of our budget, but even as a one-man-show we were dumbfounded at the finesse, skill, and dedication of his shots --- our ceremony was no more than 15 minutes start-to-finish and he got SO MANY DIFFERENT SHOTS...guests said he was literally (but unobtrusively!) racing from one end to the other. We received so many compliments about our photos, his demeanor, his dedication to our event, and how friendly and low-key he was. Even when he was shooting candids, very few people noticed he was there: such a nice change from in-your-face photographers! He captured so many beautiful moments of our day, we were so lucky to find Pete, and we will recommend him all day every day to anyone who asks. Also...we had our photos back in two weeks! My friend got married two weeks before we did, and her photographer still hadn't even sent her a sample photo by the time we received ALL of our photos from his capable hands! Gotta love it!
