Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer image touch-ups on any prints that are ordered through me, and can recolor any print by request.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have shot a number of weddings where the lighting wasn't ideal. Low-light indoor weddings, weddings in the blaring sunlight, and everything in between.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot exclusivly with digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
Just myself.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yep, who you see is who you'll get.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never two weddings in one day. I have yet to do two weddings in one weekend either.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have access to other photographers if the need arises.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
My camera (Fuji Finepix s9000), two backups, 3 lights, a reflector, tripod, and LOTS of batteries!
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, and a backup for the backup!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have a set price for a set number of hours, then hourly thereafter.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I charge $50 per hour for each hour over the scheduled time.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
None, unless the drive from the ceremony to the reception counts as a break!
Do you charge for travel?
I charge the actual cost of gas only for any destination outside 50 miles of my location (98531).
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
The slideshow is online within 48 hours (usually the night of the event) and proofs are ready within one week.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs are viewable online in the slideshow, and given to the couple in a 4x6 album
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Indefinitely! They are part of the package!
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Of course.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
If ordered.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer three bound photobooks. A 12x14 Leather bound album, a 9x12 photobook available in a number of finishes, and an 8.5x11 memory book.
When will the client get the final album?
Within 30 days.
