WOW these guys were awesome. I am surprised they don't have more reviews here because they really do a great job. I met them in one of the many bridal shows and they have a modest booth so maybe that is why they don't get much attention compared to other more showy caterers, but they do provide some food which was delicious and that is why I decided to give them a try. I met with a lot of caterers throughout the year I was planning the wedding and overall Kitchen Gourmet was the best in all aspects.

I'll start with the most important one FOOD:
The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. They had a great veggie spread and passed appetizers for the cocktail hour. For dinner we had a plated salad so people had something to munch on while they waited for the buffet dinner. We had a chicken dish in some honey sauce, a pasta dish that is SO GOOD, rice, and veggies. They customized and were open to making changes to my menu to make it fit my budget and provide the variety of food I wanted for my guests. I had a buffet which didn't have any vegan options but I had 4 vegan guests, so they provided a vegan plated dish just for them.

SERVICE: They provided the bartenders, the waiters and promised a manager on site at the wedding. The day of they actually had both the manager and owner present. During the planning stages I met with both the owner and one of the managers Dave. They are both very friendly and helpful. I worked mostly with Dave and he has the patience of a saint. I must of emailed this man a million times asking so many questions and he was always pleasant, always helpful and always willing to make any changes and give me suggestions. The day of the wedding they were professional and did a great job. Right after the ceremony I was upstairs with my husband taking pictures while the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, Dave came up with two glasses of water assuming we would be thirsty and could use drink. During the entire night the bartender kept finding my husband making sure we had something to drink. They also plated our dish so we wouldn't have to go through the buffett line and because they know brides never have a chance to eat unless you put the food right in front of them. They delivered more than I expected.

VALUE: I met with many caterers and received a lot of proposals. Theirs was the best deal by far and was the only one that I didn't feel nickled and dimed. Dear brides, when you start your search for a caterer you will learn what I mean, some want to charge you for every extra fork you might need, and any requests come with a hefty price tag, corkage fees, cake cutting fees, even a fee for the container that boils your water if you want coffee and tea for your guests (I am not kidding). Kitchen gourmet didn't have any of these, no cake cutting or corkage fees, no extra fork and glasses fees and where flexible to make changes to the menu and order of events etc with no extra fees. They gave me a very fair price.

Conclusion: Of all the caterers I met they provided the most service, best value they had the best food of all the tastings I went to. It was a no brainer to go with them. I highly recommend them!
