We are a home-based studio - a boutique videography company

Do you offer demo DVDs for potential clients to look at?

Yes we do offer Demo DVD's - just give us a call or shoot us an email :)

What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?

We do offer unedted or "raw footage" from the day as an option on hard drive. We also offer hi-lights for social media publishing for all your guests/family/friends to see (these are typically 2-4 weeks after the wedding)

Describe any special editing services you offer:

We use only industry standard software foe editing and sound. Final Cut Studio and Avid Pro-Tools.

Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?

Yes, we have soft LED on camera lighting that dims if necessary.

How many videographers do you work with?

There are two of us operating JMV, Alison & Mary. That's who you will meet with, that's who shoots your event, and that is who edits it :)

Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?

Absolutely. We arrange for a pre-event meeting to go voer any questions/concerns that you might have.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Absolutely

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

No. We only have one event PER day.

Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?

Yes, we will make sure your event is covered no matter what!

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

We bring the necessary number of HD cameras and wireless mic systems ( per package agreement). We bring a backup camera, tripods, cables, batteries, an H4 Zoom (for backup audio), and checklists!!

Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Breaks and meals are discussed with each client during our pre-event meeting.

Do you charge overtime?

Do you give access to your raw footage?

We do - a small fee applies to receive your raw footage via hard-drive.

Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for deals, contents, etc.?

Yes

Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?

The client is not involved in the ACTUAL editing. However during our pre-event meeting, we discuss styles, edit and music choices so that the client knows what to expect.

How long does it take for the client to get the final video?

6-12 weeks following the event date

Do you require a minimum number of hours to book?

no - you have us all day
