About
Ever since I was young all I can remember is wanting to become a photographer. Throughout my life I have always been the one behind the camera capturing each and every moment.
It was at Penn State where I discovered my photography love more deeply. I learned to capture unique and candid seconds in people’s lives. I photographed for my college newspaper and before graduation in May of 2005, with a BA in Journalism, was named Feature Photographer of the Semester. Upon graduation I moved on in photojournalism world to a local newspaper, where I continued to catch unique times in people’s lives.
In 2006 I moved to Fairfax, Va and tried my hand at portrait photography.
So far I have shot weddings, engagement photos, a bridal shower, a 1st birthday party, a 1st Hold Communion, portraits and candids.  I love mixing up portraits and candid shots for fun and beautiful pictures that will last a lifetime!
Now as my make my move to San Diego, California I want to expand my horizons and work with as many fun people as I can.  If you have any questions, please email me at elvrumphotography@gmail.com or visit my website for more examples of my work.
