How do I order a cake?

Do You Deliver?
Yes, I deliver in the Niagara Peninsula. The cost of the delivery depends on the distance from my home. Free in Welland. Outside of Welland the starting cost is $15.
You may also wish to have your cake shipped. You will be responsible for the shipping charges.


Can I use my own cake topper on the cake?
Yes, if the cake you choose does not have a topper permanately attached.


Can I use fresh flowers on my cake?
You may consult with your florist to have them supply real flowers for you wedding cake. This is your responsibility. Make sure that the florist knows that the cake must be protected from any moisture used to keep the flowers from wilting. If there is any water damage, a deduction will be made from your damage deposit.


What else do you rent?
I have a number of cake stands available for rental. They are either ceramic, glass or silver plateaus. Rental of these stands start at $10 plus a deposit. Book the cake stand early so that you are not disappointed on your wedding day.
I have several styles of cash boxes for rent. Rental starts at $10 plus a deposit.


Can you provide a "real cake" top tier for our first anniversary?
Yes I can. Let me know and I will bake you one and decorate it in a similar manner to your wedding cake. Contact me for more information.


Do you rent cakes for weddings in less than 24 hours?
Yes, contact me right away to book a cake and possibly arrange delivery and set up.


Do you rent cakes in the event of a wedding cake disaster?
Yes, contact me right away to book a cake and arrange delivery and set up.


What if the cake is damaged?
The most common damage is to the fondant. If the damage is minimal and easily repairable (pin holes, little dents, etc) there won’t be an extra charge.
If the damage is extensive and requires dismantling of the cake you will lose your $100 damage deposit.


Will you design a custom cake for me to rent?
Absolutely. Just bring pictures or your ideas and we can discuss the special design of your cake. There will be a minimum $100 charge in addition to the regular cost of renting a cake.


Do you make any other types of Faux cakes?
Yes, I can also construct anniversary cakes, birthday cakes, shower cakes or any other kind of faux cake that you can think of. Contact me for pricing.


How do you price your cakes?
Cakes are based on three factors, the number of storeys, the intricacy of the custom design requested and the clients needs. I’m very budget friendly and will not compromise quality and service to you.


How long in advance must an order be placed?
An order may be placed one week in advance, however 4-6 months is ideal.


What should I bring along to my first consultation?
When coming in for a cake consultation, please provide any sketches, pictures and colour swatches.
