We worked with Marianne for a couple times throughout our big life events. She made our wedding cake + cupcakes, gender reveal cake, wedding anniversary cake and baby shower cupcakes. We loved all of the cakes she made and will continue to order from her. I highly recommend!

Due to Covid - 19, my daughter's wedding plans were changed, and we at very last minute had to make alternative plans. After researching, I found Mare's Custom Cakes (who was highly rated), and decided to try giving her a call re a VERY last minute request for a wedding cake. Marianne was a godsend. She made a beautiful, and very delicious strawberry cake with Bavarian cream. The bride and groom absolutely loved everything about it. Marianne was my first stop when it came to scheduling my cake tasting and hunting for someone to make the perfect cake for my wedding and there was truly no need for my fiance and I to search for anyone else. Believe me when I say that Marianne is one of the sweetest people that I've met. Not only are her cakes super delicious, but she was also extremely welcoming, very attentive, and extremely patient. My wedding was scheduled for June 20th and was postponed due to COVID but, when I contacted Marianne to inform her of the postponement she was very empathetic and understanding. I reached out to her with the hopes of having a cake made for my fiances birthday and she was more than willing to do so. I LOVE Marianne she will definitely be my forever baker!

Mares custom cakes are amazing. Our cake was so perfect to look at but our guests are still talking about how great it tasted to this day. We also ordered a cake for 120 people that turned into 175 guests just before the wedding. Marianne was calm cool and collected and handled the last minute problem without a problem. I love her!!!

When we first met Mare and told her our idea, well, she was the first and only person to tell us that she could execute the idea we wanted--and it wasn't exactly your run of the mill, traditional white cake. While the front side may look it, the surprise was on the back side. While in the picture the pop figures sort of hide her attention to detail, Mare got everything right from the curled mountain to the moon and the pumpkins. Her clean clean fondant work, edible lace, and piping skills truly show her care and attention to detail. She is easy to work with, has a variety of cake flavors, and the best part, her cakes are delicious. I am used to cakes looking wonderful and yet leaving something to be desired on the taste buds but wow, the almond flavored cake with the amaretto filling, to die for! I only got to see her for a moment when she arrived, but she set up the cake easier and let us borrow her love sign. The moment I saw the cake, I nearly cried; everything had been going so smoothly and perfectly and seeing that cake in all its glory was like the cherry on top. Mare's Custom Cakes was the perfect choice for us; we will remember this part of our wedding for a lifetime.

Mare is our family’s go to baker. Whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, birthday, baby shower, or a just because cake, she goes above and beyond providing the most spectacular and delicious cakes. Every flavor and filling she offers is a winner. She recently backed a three tier wedding cake with each tier a different flavor and different filling and I still can’t choose which was my favorite.
