About Us

I am a professional seamstress with 28 years of experience in clothing alterations. I was formerly an alterations training manager with a large bridal chain. As of May 2010 I have opened my own business - Christine, Your Seamstress to provide services to brides, bridesmaids and the general public needing alterations services. I provide any alterations service including bustling dresses and final pressing.

I offer custom made bridal accessories including wraps, sleeves, straps and veils. My custom made veils include beaded Alencon lace edge, cut-edge, and pencil edge. Pencil edging can be done in ANY color you choose. Veils can be made in any fullness, length, and as many layers as you would like! The lace wrap pictured was made from the lace of my bride's mother's wedding gown!!

Christine was Excellent! Long story short, I had a dress that was just not working out for me -- I took the dress to Christine, and she worked her magic, and turned it into a Beautiful dress! Her prices are really low too!! It was about an hour drive for me, but it was So worth it because not only are her prices low, but her customer service is Exceptional! She is so nice and will work with you; she just doesn't do the job and send you away. She works out any issues or worries that you have, and she is really flexible with appointments. She is professional, and just an all-around nice person. It's hard to find a good, honest person these days! But, Christine is def one of them! Please see her for any dress fitting help or alterations. My MOH was SO pleased with her as well!
